I wonder if we can see a consistency with the CR2 and bodies that are failing to display properly? I posted earlier not having issues with an M2 but my old CR2 files came from a 350D that I haven't used in a decade ++.They are, not every canon raw file is an issue but everyone with a 5d mark iv has this issue I’ve tried on different machines as well

This is blocking my MacBook Air from opening CR3 files from Canon EOS R1.Has anyone checked if the offending files have the quarantine attribute set?

The CR2 downloaded from https://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/canon-70d/YIMG_0069.CR2.HTM opens correctly with space in Finder and displays correctly in Icon view & Gallery view. In Column view appears black, but I'm testing in a virtual machine. My CR2s do not have any extended attributes.
Used that sample. That is exactly what I get on my Intel iMac. M4 MBP fails with both space (Quick Look) and column view. Same as my CR2s.The CR2 downloaded from https://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/canon-70d/YIMG_0069.CR2.HTM opens correctly with space in Finder and displays correctly in Icon view & Gallery view. So it does! On both my Macs.Edit: after adjusting the size of the Finder window, the image appeared in Column view as well.
