How about people wait until the phone is released before getting mad about the looks of a meaningless render or alleged camera bump etc. Nothing has been confirmed outside of a leaker said something on social media.
Apple would tell everybody, they now have to record it vertically not horizontally 🤣How would it record special video with the camera like that
Surely the thin will necessitate a relatively bigger bump? How about no more bumps, now with the thin that should be a must at least.
But there have been. Large phones didn't appear in a vacuum. People consistently chose them over smaller options, which is what brought us to where we are now. And when Apple gave small phones another shot with the 12 and 13 minis, they only appealed to a niche market. This line always sounds so logical when slung. Of course, it ignores the concept that if there is no ALT candidate in the race, there’s no fair contest to evaluate.
How about fill in the bump with more battery for a fat iphone with 2 day battery life? iPhone Plump alongside the air? THIS is what the people wantHow about no more bumps, now with the thin that should be a must at least.
Controversial doesn’t make it necessarily iconic though. The bump is definitely iconic, because it was pretty controversial in its first iteration. I don't mind it so much now though.
Samsung galaxy s10 says helloUmm… I think you mean Google. No Samsung phones look like this.
That's fair enough. I think it's iconic because it's a standout feature that no one else is doing (maybe for a good reason) and makes it recognisable. But to each their own 🤷♂️Controversial doesn’t make it necessarily iconic though.
When I think iconic I think something like the iPhone or galaxy.

Well to be fair Samsung did it first with their galaxy s10 lolThat's fair enough. I think it's iconic because it's a standout feature that no one else is doing (maybe for a good reason) and makes it recognisable. But to each their own 🤷♂️
Okay, no current Samsung models I should say. That phone is 5.5 years old.Samsung galaxy s10 says hello
Still proves the point it isn’t a pixel thing.Okay, no current Samsung models I should say. That phone is 5.5 years old.
I will stick with my iPhone 16 Pro.
I’ll be sticking with my 512gb iPhone 16 Pro Max
I will stick with my 15 pro max.
You may get unstuck rather quickly when your family members and friends start showing up with their new redesigned iPhone 17 Pro’s. You may even beat me by a few weeks when I replace my 14 Pro with a 17 Pro because I usually wait until December to buy in case there are hardware issues with the initial batch of units.I will stick with my iPhone 16 Pro.
If they do redesign the 17PM, the 18PM will most likely look the same.If it looks like this I might have to keep my 15PM another year longer.
And 19 as well. 20 will be the next major redesign. If they do redesign the 17PM, the 18PM will most likely look the same.
