I had this issue to but cleared up after I did a reset network settings on my 6S+.

SO I'm not crazy!

It took me an hour to download a 15Mb app while I had my brother on Mobile try it and it downloaded in 2 seconds.

My other apps were loading just fine. AT&T better not be pulling any crap on me.

I have been having the exact thing from the Chicago area, I thought i was going crazy too.

I was headed to the macrumors forums this morning to see if anyone else had been having issues with streaming music over LTE. Siri through Apple CarPlay is all jacked up as well. It's been driving me crazy. Happy to see that it's a widespread issue. Hoping that lights a fire under AT&T's butt but not holding my breath.

Edit: I'm in the Memphis, TN market.

Yeah not sure what ATT is doing but it has been happening to me for about 2 weeks now. Getting annoyed.

Want to report to AT&T there's an issue but don't want to talk to someone about it?

AT&T's own Mark the Spot! app will let you report any network issues, the location of the issue, as well as run a short diagnostic for them. You do have the option to fill in additional comments. These are what generate reports and build up outage profiles in their outage tool.

I have a problem thats on the same lines. I can stream Apple Music over LTE, however when trying to play anything using Siri she tells me she's having a problem and if I'm not on wifi I have to enable streaming over LTE in settings, however that setting is already enabled...

I've had the same issue for weeks. First on my iPhone 6 with the iOS 9 public beta and now on my iPhone 6s Plus on the iOS 9.1 public beta. Apple Music has a hard time getting started and pauses constantly. Sometimes it'll work fine but probably 80% of the time it's unusable in the car. Perfectly fine on wifi. I hate AT&T so much but unlimited data!!! (And I'm in Orlando just in case)

This is my problem with AT&T. Incredibly slow speeds on LTE. I'm in N Fort Worth. Other areas are not as bad but also not as good as I've experienced in the past. Time to get this fixed AT&T!!

I agree....I am 3 hours north of you and it's never been this bad. My bar strength is good and this is the best it can do?

Is this purely AT&T's fault, or can Apple also do something to help alleviate the issues? I've been trying lately to get back into Apple Music before the expiration ends to see if it is something I'll use and I haven't been able to play a single song, so I've been hating on Apple pretty hard thinking it was their service's fault.

At&t is really dropping the ball. Wifi Calling is still unavailable due to FCC delays.
Way to plan ahead...

I've had WiFi calling for a while now. Originally for my 6 Plus when it was available during the iOS 9 beta and now for my 6s Plus. I think that's because it's still provisioned on my line on my account.

But I see what you're saying. A friend of mine who did not participate in the beta cannot sign up for WiFi calling with his 6s Plus in our area.

So, here in Buffalo/Niagara Falls, NY region, I wanted to see if this was happening to me. So, I had a few apps that needed updating, so I clicked on the update for them. Nothing happened. Just sitting there like they were trying to update, but nothing else. So, while they were trying to update, I went and ran speed test, 44Mb down and 7Mb up. So I went back to the apps being updated. I stopped them and then restarted them, they began to download and install, very quickly...so that was kind of weird. Next I went into Apple Music and it seems to be working just fine. So, I don't seem to be having this issue here. NOTE, I am running iPhone 6 Plus iOS 9.0.2

This started for me about 2 weeks ago on my iPhone 6 and continued after upgrading to 6s. Affecting both App Store downloads and Apple Music streaming on LTE in Chicago.

I feel you, Philadelphia has some slow areas as well, even with good signal. Philly is just the pits for almost all carriers except T-Mobile. Even with Band 17 10x10, Band 2 15x15 and Band 4 10x10, the network can crawl to those speeds.

This isn't news to me. Here in Boston at least, AT&T is so congested that this is an every day occurrence for me. I've been wanting to switch to T-Mobile since last year but my boyfriend won't let me since his family lives in New Hampshire where T-Mobile service is non-existent.

Pfft, LTE has always been slow for me.

Been like that since Jan or so of 2014 with my iPhone 5.

Thought the iPhone 6 Plus would fix it. Nope

I'm still a grandfathered unlimited plan.m

I have to always been on 4G to get any decent speeds.

Somethings off. I'm still on the grandfathered unlimited plan too. Currently inside a concrete building, if that has any effect on data speeds.

Whoever said AT&T sucks, I'm sticking with my (Faster Than 96% of US) speeds, thank you.

Yea. I've been getting throttled by At&t... I called them and explained to them what the hell is going wrong with my Iphone 5S that they have been throttling for the past 2 years.... Since they said they would give us unlimited are due at 22g without throttling, that was cool for aBout a week... I call a Big ******** on AT&T... They are truely F*cking with me (us)....

I was in Dallas last week and noticed generally slow speeds. In the area of 3-6 Mbps download and less than 1 upload on LTE. Last time I was in DFW I was seeing over 50.
When I returned to Iowa I was getting around 25 Mbps download, which is normal here. Thought it was my phone. Looks like it was AT&T.
