No way. Albany is the real deal -- check out their schedule.

It's ridiculous that they're a 16 seed -- they absolutely ran through America East.
Well America East and Big East are a little different, Id like to see them play in the ACC or Big East and see how good they are.

All I have to say is: Kudos to Albany. Making it this far in the game, as a 16 seed with a lead over UConn. I don't care if they lose even, nobody expects them to win, but man it sure would be nice to see an upset like that. Can't believe they've kept a lead this long though, or at least close to a lead.

You're seeing how good they are right now.

This Albany team would win at least 8 games in the Big East -- do you really think Seton Hall could beat them any more than 50% of the time? They've got size, speed, shooting, depth -- and they play great defense.

Connecticut is playing sloppy ball right now, they need to stop the turnovers.

PLEASE LET ALBANY WIN!!!! PLZ GOD!!!!

It would destroy my bracket, but probably everyone elses too, so why not!!

GO ALBANY!!:p

Looks like the slipper doesn't fit. My bracket breathes a big sigh of relief...

Meantime, I have to switch over to the NIT. Stanford supposedly had a 12-hour red-eye planes/trains/automobiles odyssey to get to Springfield, MO for their 2nd round game against Mizzou St, and they're already an underwhelming team on the road. I expect this is the end of the road for Hernandez, Haryasz, and Grunfeld. Thanks for the memories, guys...

Now I'm sweating out my team and murray st!

edit: Halftime....What doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger?

Does anyone have Kansas' coach's cell #? Call him and tell him to tell them to STOP TURNING THE BALL OVER! There, that felt better. :p

I know where I want to kick bill self

I hate UNC games that are so close!

We better win this or I will get really mad this time!

Lord this is a mess! Murray st too, they are playing well, and having some refs on your team helps!

edit, I think I need to change my panties!

edit 2; I bet Kansas misses Roy, and I had Kansas beating Memphis! Losing to UCLA in the regional finals. This one hurtz me bad.

Kansas just stinked, stank, stunk, tonight. What? 19 turnovers? I think the coach needs to blame his bad Self. They did not play well either mentally or technically. I usually blame coaches for flat teams. Though I managed to squeak out 2 out of 4 tonight, I sure could have used a UAB win over Kentucky, but thankfully didn't have much hope for Kansas down the line. Two days, and I'm looking at damage control and my poor, devasted Atlanta Bracket. It could go south, real fast, the next couple of days.
Go ahead kwyjibo, here's a wide, open kick for ya. :D

Well, hell. Stanford couldn't overcome their not-so-fantastic voyage and tons of ticky-tack fouls (three players fouled out, and three more ended with four fouls!). At least they came back from a 21 point deficit... bodes well for next year, maybe.

But back to the NCAAs: my brackets are still looking good after round one. I wouldn't be surprised to see them start falling apart this weekend, though...

I"m glad our recruiting is finally coming around ... but bill almost sank us on his way out (don't forget Charlie Villanueva had an Illinosi verbal before he switched to uconn). I was glad to see bradley win, they have trouble recruiting sometimes out of their own town ( Briand Randle & Jamar Smith most recently for example are straight out of peorias as is Bill Cole in our '07 class)

The way I see things going, this tourney is up for grabs bigtime. Is anyone really hot? I haven't been imersed in things this year, which is obvious by my picks; but I noticed a lot of close games from true underdogs. Dook looked OK but not great, same with UNC. UConn looked awful, and were in good company. Saturday and Sunday will have to give us a leader or hot team.
I didn't pick UNC to win it, but their chances look great now.
Of course, next year UNC will blow the doors of some NBA teams by the time Roy has 'em ticking on all 12 cylinders!;)

Kansas losing really fed me. I had them going to the final four. Losing to Bradly is unacceptable. Sorry about being late I just had to let others know how I feel.

Lets go Washington!!!!

Gearing up for the potential Huskie vs Huskie matchup in the Sweet 16?

This time, Richard Hamilton won't be around to bail UConn out in the final seconds. :p

Illinois: It was a streaky scrappy team ... I can't think of any game that more demostrates this than that one last night. I didn't have my own team going past uconn but i still wanted to give them a shot in my heart.

my yahoo has an updated score but doesn't show the updates with the green / red .... anyone else having this problem?
