People who keep asking for MacOS on the iPad should just use MacOS.

MacOS is more productive than being able to use touch. Touch is just an interface just like mouse and keyboard.

MacOS does not have touch interface but that's not a downside.
iPadOS does not have MacOS functionality and that's a downside.

I don’t think people are asking for MacOS. They complaining of iPadOS having its roots in iPhone OS vs Desktop OS. And saying Apple is moving slowly.

Steve: 9.7" -- one size to rule them all (ok and maybe there is room for a 7.9" device).

Timmy: f*ck that sh*t, let's try with 10.2", 10.5", 10.9", 11", 12.9" and now 16". Something will stick for sure!!
Steve: "Lets have laptops with 11", 12", 13", 14", 15", and 17" screens.

You seem to be confused. You are putting different product lines and eras in the same bag (IBM processors, Intel processors, MacBooks, MacBook Airs, MacBook Pros).

I’d totally buy a 16-inch iPad Pro. I wish they would move the camera to the top when in landscape mode, as well as change the Apple symbol on the back to landscape mode. Throw in an OLED display, wireless charging, slim bezels and a matte black color like the iPhone 7 and it’d be my dream iPad.

Get rid of the consumer feeling experience of iPadOS and put a full blown OS on it, I wouldn't even call the current line ups "PRO" due to the limited I/O and phone like experience. Pro's want flexibilty not an overgrown toy.

I’d figure Pro’s don’t want any iPad, then, “pro” or not.
