Considering how big a deal WikiLeaks was to the world, it's frightening to see how few people know who Julian Assange is.
Mark's net worth is more than Steve's net worth. It took 35 years for Steve to get from where he was from the beginning of Apple to right now. Mark is 27 years old and already is rich. He started Facebook in 2004 and it's 2011 right now. So 7 years it took him to get from where he was to now.
So, they're about the same.
You could've just answered the question, not all of us are or were living in the US at that time, nor watch American TV to see an image of the person, nor cared who the guy at the top of the leaks even was.
The leaks are what counted, not the image of the person who leaked it. Excuse me for not gluing myself to the TV to see what someone looks like.
It's particularly asinine to suggest that just because someone doesn't recognize an artist's rendition of someone implies that they also have no idea of what that person was tied to or known for.
I don't have one either.
Facebook is of no use to me, and I knew that from day one. Speaking only for myself, I have far better things to do, of much greater excitement that to sit at a computer and "socialize".
I'm an outgoing, active, athletic and very social person. I visit with friends while we are cycling on a century run. Or while hiking, or when we are out kayaking... there is far too much fun to be had outdoors in California to be stuck inside.
That's my take on it and I'm sticking to it....
WRONG! I'd say more like your ass from the edge of the universe, and seeing as that's ever expanding I think it sums Mark up nicely.
You're not accounting for inflation between 2004 and the beginning of Jobs' career back in the '70s.

Except that Mark Zuckerberg is a complete ass. I know people who know him, and he's a complete tool. So much so that he can't even get a girl, apparently, even though he's rich and famous... he screws it up royally.
I'm friends with the daughter of the CEO of the Oracle Corporation... and she says she (and others) have literally TRIED to set him up with girls, and he's blown it every time by being a moron.
