I am, almost bailed last season. The return of Ward and the whole thing with Daisy and Lincoln just bored me to tears.

This season has been a bit more fun, with Ghost Rider, the original Patriot (not Eli Bradley) and a lot of fun little Easter eggs.

I'm somewhat in a similar boat in the sense that my interest kind of goes in and out based on different plots and sub-plots.

AoS is a good, sometimes great show. I think a lot of people had high expectations that were not realistic like trying to put a movie-quality show on TV. While some may not agree, I like how it's not full-fledged connected to the movies. They reference it here and there but for the most part, I enjoy that they have their own thing going on and because of that, it really feels like I'm going through a comic but through TV - we know that the Avengers exist in this universe but there are other things that goes on that it doesn't need to focus around them 100% of the time. Also, it sure makes the time in between movies go by a lot quicker so if anything, AoS provides an excellent plug in-between movies.

I've been a faithful watcher since the beginning. It's had its ups and downs. I agree the season where Ward came back was just one big yawn fest. This season was great though. I loved the ghost Rider character (especially since it wasn't Nick Cage!), and how everything came together so well. Even the new director.

I've got to say, I loved Coulson's off-hand reference to the "other Ghost Rider".

That and the basement where the Darkhold was found having Quentin Carnival posters, as well as the overall look of the Rider who visited the dying Robbie, means that Johnny Blaze (at minimum) exists in the MCU.
