Still like new to me.
No scratch at all. Same, just being careful.Maybe I'm just careful or have had good luck, but I have never had this problem with My lighting port.
Had my matte black 7 for about two months now. No signs of wear around the lightning port. Still looks good as new.
Matte black will be my next color. I really like the under-tone look to it and it's more appealing than Jet Black to me.
Matte black has grown on me TBH. I still am a space gray fan, but I'm not holding out hope that Apple will reintroduce space gray in the next gen iPhone.
That's what she said.helps not doing it at night in the dark thinking you can just slide it in..
mine is still in pristine condition, actually the whole phone is...Curious for any updates from MB owners, 5 months on...
I noticed the lightning port on the matte black is well black and was wondering if with normal use wear and tear will it look all scratched up?
I want to buy a Plus and am leaning towards the black (matte) but afraid the lightning port will look bad with time from use.
Mine is perfect.
That said, when I go to plug something into it, I don't just randomly stab at the bottom of my phone until it goes in. I'm intentionally precise with my lightning cable.
