DP4 so far is awesome. All the major bugs I've submitted up to and including DP3 were all fixed so far in 4. Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Mine also works fine. Just the very first time I tried it, it didn't register my three-finger tap but has since been good.

2 bugs so far

For some reason I am unable to add my outlook.com email account. I tried using both Mail (accounts) and Sys Pref (Internet Accounts). In Mail, the process just quits abruptly at the end with no message. In Sys Pref I get an actual error (Preferences Error). FWIW, my Gmail account was added without any issues.

Anyone using outlook.com email had luck adding it in DP4?

Another bug is when I leave myself logged on and then either let the system enter sleep mode or force sleep, when I wake it, it never asks for password - it just goes right into my desktop. Even though in Security preferences (Sys Pref) I have it set up to require password immediately after sleep.

Hey guys, have you noticed that you can scroll, go backwards on any window from mission control? I don't know if you could do this in the previous DPs but I just figured it out.

Thankfully they fixed the notification menu that cuts off text after a few letters!

getting safari bug in dp4 where pinch and zoom stops working and instead acts like a cmd+until restarting safari

Overall, DP4 is pretty stable for me. DP2/3 had a wifi bug which showed I was connected but the internet was dropped and the only way to fix it was to turn wifi on and off. DP4 indeed fixed the wifi issue that I was having.

Also "purge" works now but requires sudo

And I'm really liking the ability to scroll while in Mission Control. Really cool. Hope it stays in the final version.

Mavericks is the new Snow Leopard. And I love it!!

I was running DP1 and DP2 and would LOVE to just run Mavericks now already instead of ML. Im happy with the slight instability there might be, but the fact that the big software giants (adobe / The Foundry etc) are waiting for a final release before updating their software makes it impossible to do any actual work on Mavericks unfortunately.. because as an everyday system its such a joy compared to ML.

Finaly those wifi problems on the 5GHz channel are resolved! No more wifi dropped connections after copying large amounts of data. And no more 100% noise on that same 5GHz channel, only 10 to 13%.

Overall it feels alot snappier!

I dont have any problems with Adobe software, so i guess its safe to upgrade?
And if you have time enough you can test it in a VM, guess its worth the try so you can use it as your main OS isnt it?

Tested Diablo III with DP3 and DP4 on a rMBP. Saw a drop in framerate from 37fps to 14fps after the update. Had to drop the resolution several levels to get it back above 30fps.

Not sure if it's a graphics driver or Diablo issue, but I am confident it will get worked out.

DP4 Broke Photoshop CC

I installed DP4 and now when I open photoshop every time when I select something like Levels Adjustments - for some reason all the values keep deleting.

It's like there is something that keeps pressing Delete on the keyboard.

Sound like a joke but it's terrible!

See the screenshot. I Highlited the Value 0 because after making the levels adjustment I had to put manually 0 after I receive that Error.
Whenever I move the sliders for example for highlights then the numeric value there gets reset and I have to manually put there a number.
