Or they're still getting the same shipments but there are now a lot more people going in trying to get watches. When I got mine I just walked in around 6pm, no appointment and nobody waiting. Preordered a SG BSB and was called the next day.

Wait time for most 42m SS is 5-7 weeks at Apple Store. Usually, people receive it earlier than that. Damn!! Should've order from Apple Store.
 
My card has openly filed a dispute for this charge.

I'll still have the option to accept the watch within 2 more weeks but at least I know now that I'll receive a refund should it still not arrive by then. Although they have issued a temporary credit until resolved. Just FYI for anyone else.

Just walked in and bought a 42MM black accessory sport band. Took five minutes. Maxfield rocks!

I picked up my SS w/ Silver Link bracelet this afternoon. They had called this morning. I ordered it on May 5th...
Glad they're finally getting stock.
 
I got the call that my 42mm SS black leather loop had come in today! I'm assuming it arrived with the big shipment yesterday (or whenever that was) and they just processed it this morning. I pre-ordered on 4/30, so it was almost exactly two weeks turnaround. Funnily enough, yesterday was the lowest moment, where I'd considered just canceling the order or buying one on eBay or something. Glad I waited!
 
Woah leather loop watches and stainless steel link watches...that's pretty good stock. I'm still waiting for them to call me on the sg 38mm...but if they have a space black watch or leather loop bands alone, I'm there! (For the fam, all apple fans)
 
The big one! Got a call yesterday morning to pick up my 42mm SS Space Black. Going to pick it up on Monday.
 
I called today to see if I could swap my order (42 SS BSB) for any other watch in stock, even a more expensive one. They told me they would not be able to change or cancel my order and to just wait. Ordered last Friday the 9th.
 
I wish they had the space black to just walk in and pickup. Just called and all I was told it "that one you have to preorder"...I'd have to assume that they're only getting a small amount of these in.

I think you can put the blame of that one on Apple. The date is still July for space black on the Apple site but every other watch has dropped to 5-7 weeks.

If you are buying a SG 38mm Sport, Apple says 3-5 weeks. You're almost better ordering from Apple at this point.
