MBA: [must-have] applications

Must have packages for Lion, this is purely subjective:

Firefox (way better than Safari IMO)
LibreOffice (free MS Office clone)
VLC (for formats that Apple does not support)
The Archive Browser (not as good as 7-zip, but decent)
XCode (make sure and install the command line tools)
Flash
Java (enable the plugin)
Skype

I'm probably missing some, but this is a good start.

I really dont know anything about macs this being my first one but one of the first things i installed was VLC.
