So what? He obviously searched to find this thread instead of creating a new one. Nothing makes you guys happy, if he made a new thread you would have said "Its been discussed, search for it".

I absolutely don't care. I just wanted to tell him incase he didn't see it so he doesn't expect an answer from the OP. Seriously, I'm not the forum police lol. I find it funny that some members try to be it by COPY PASTE forum rules every 2 threads.

My goodness, the gaping on that thing looks AWFUL. Anyway, every mpb I've seen has the gaping issue. I refuse to accept that is is normal. NO other laptop from any other manufacturer has this issue.

Oops sorry, didnt' realize this thread was so old since it was at the top.

Absolutely, humor has no expiration date. Especially when deadpixels links to it.

It is my fault and i apologize, it started from a good idea, wanted to help someone on a much newer thread about lid gap. didn't want to go through the trouble of posting the pic again so i got it from this thread. i guess something went wrong when i linked this thread and voila, sorry guys :(

lock catch problem

thought I would through this problem I just recently got with my MBP, normally when I close the lid the catches work straight away, but now I am having to hold it for approx 10 - 15 seconds before it catches and when I open it, it is slower to retract.
any ideas. and I also have the common problem that this thread is discussing relating to the gap.
