Along with removing "Computer" from its corporate name, it's no mystery; Apple has been focusing on web content for some time. iPhones and iPods are the devices for that; computing platforms have become a secondary ingredient.

yep. Apple isn't just about computer's anymore. now there's all the digital media stuff like ipods, iphones and apple tv.

my guess is that dotmac was deemed too connected to the service as a computer tool, whereas mobileme, although rather lame sounding, gives better focus to the portability of the service. it isn't tied to your home computer or even any computer. now you can use any computer or even your smart phone etc.

Can mobile.me sync with my companies exchange account?

I know it is a strange question because Mobile.me is essentially the same thing, but if AT&T decides I need to pay 45$/month to push exchange to my phone than I would rather pay the 99$/year for Apple's service.

I was told by a Genius that I would receive my order on July 8 and it would work the morning of July 11.
