3x750 Samsung F1 (by rec. from this forum) from XD.no (cheapest and in stock). Planning on doing RAID 1 for my client material, doing broadcast work so have to have redudancy. Singel 750 for OSX and apps.

And...mine is shipped, not just prepared

k, thanks. :) I got Seagates, they've been very good to me thus far, so I don't really feel like switching. (By the way, XD was more expensive on the Seagates, so I guess Samsung is more "htier" brand then.)
 
btw, I can row my boat from Oslo to Ireland and back with my Mac Pro in the same timeframe as TNT Express does. (Yes, I am an olympic rower).

I haven't yet, but I will be calling tomorrow if it's not "Prepared for shipping" by the afternoon.
 
I spoke to a mac guy who im dealing with in usa and he says UK ones should be early part of next week.

I ordered on the 16th of Jan. Custom, just the 8800 with wireless mouse and keyboard, with wifi.

I'm in Edinburgh, and my last name begins with G (isn't this crazy - I think we've all gone nuts).

No indication yet of when it will ship or arrive. It's still saying the same as ever (ship 20th, Delivery 27th)

I wonder when/if that will change. Anyone?

I ordered the same day (8800 and 3ghz), it changed to prepared earlier today, and just shipped. :) (Had the same shipping-estimate too.)

I guess it'd probably ship tomorrow at this point in time. I'm highly jealous; my pro is still at the "not yet shipped" state :(
 
I ordered MP 2.8 x8, 320gb, 2gb, 8800GT, Airport Extreme.

"Shipping" 20th Feb
"Delivery" 22nd Feb.

Currently no change on the status.

Still, whilst its very exciting, we know know that we're getting closer. Good times ahead :)

PS - Read in the other 8800GT post about a UK guy ordering from CW and they got an email saying that apple was fixing a bios problem with the GT's and there will be a further 2-3 week wait. Let's hope that was simply a 3rd party delay.
 
So what the longest between 'Prepared for Shipment' and 'Shipped', are we talking hours or days?
 
Hmm... :confused:

I haven´t got my Pro shipped yet. Could EDU-discount delay the order? I also ordered Aperture, but it was 24hrs-product in Store when I ordered. Is this just bad luck? Many people in Finland have got ther Pros. Well, I need patience. ;)

I ordered on EDU-store and it has shipped. As people all over are saying, there seems to be little method to the madness. :p Calm down, and I'm sure it'll come soon!

That´s great news! I´m in Berlin too and I ordered around the same time as you. I haven´t been able to check my shipment-status since a friend ordered it for me with his account ;).
I assume mine must have shipped too by now. Will ask my friend to check.

Config's standard with 8800 (obviously), 500GB, wireless mouse, modem and various software. Oh, and dev discount. Will post with where it's coming from when I can track it.
 
Mine has also changed to "Prepared for Shipping". It shouldn´t take more than hours to be shipped. :cool:
