ordered mine today, have a preliminary ship date of the 29th Feb and delivery date of the 7th March. is it likely that these estimates are quite conservative and ill actually receive it earlier?
 
hurrah for proxy servers. my work internet lets me on to apple's site, but bugs out when i log into my account :( with a little help from www.ilovechemistry.info i've just been able to get in and see:

Yep it said the 20th last night. I logged into to check now and says shipped "Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule". And order tracking says " Estimated Delivery Date 12 Feb 2008 (Subject to change)"

So now I have to spend the weekend cleaning my office for my new baby :D

UPDATE: My Delivery date just changed to the 11th

Ordered a single 2.8 with 8800gt + airport on jan 29 and still "not yet shipped".
Estimated shipping by feb 19 (shipping to france).
I got 2x1GB sticks from thomann (csx memory) impatiently waiting to be installed :D

Just SHIPPED! Exactly a day after saying 'prepared for shipping'.

Expected delivery on or before 18th Feb.

I hope it delvers before (obviously), but particularly if it's coming from Ireland, I could walk there and back in that time!

I'm in Edinburgh and did Student Discount - 8800, wifi, 500gb, wireless keyboard and mouse.

Wahooo. After a hard day away from the office, I just checked my mail and look here, I get an email from Apple. "It's shipped".

I dont havean expected delivery time yet, as the tracking information is not available yet. Just Damn glad to get that message.

Getting more excited now.

Hope you all get yours soon. Ordered via Apple webstore.
 
Mine shipped today, TNT tracking info shows that it has left Cork. Estimated delivery date originally was 18th Feb, now is 13th Feb, but I'm hopeful it will arrive before that.
 
Do your TNT tracking show "Delivery Date"?
Mine is still just blank. All I know now is that is here:
"Northampton Hub Consignment Received At Transit Point ".
 
Well I have 14th (subject to change) as a delivery date. However when I go to the tnt tracking page and enter the code, it's not found. So I will try again and maybe tomorrow it will show me where its coming from etc.

On the Apple Store tracking info it now says est delivery 12th Feb. They also updated Carrier Tracking Number with a different non- 80 number, and the new number shows up in TNT's search for consignments not originating in the UK. The TNT site says

08 Feb 2008 19:53 Cork Shipped From Originating Depot
08 Feb 2008 19:32 Cork Consignment Received At Transit Point

But the delivery date is still blank. I'm assuming it will arrive on Tuesday at the latest - and hopefully they'll get it to me on Monday.
 
Bilbo, my tracking number starts with an 80.

I have had lots of high end computers always kit that I have built, but to me, this is something that much more special. This is a high end quality machine. I will be buying either 8 or 16gb of ram for it in the next month or so.

Damn, the coming nights are going to be harder to sleep. :D

Me too - not found on TNT page. Shipped yesterday but I still have "carrier details to be updated shortly" with an estimated delivery of "17 Feb 2008 (Subject to change)" - which is a Sunday. Order Details page says estimated delivery of 22nd and shipped email says on or before 19th.

Does anyone have a shipping company other than TNT?

Exactly the same for me. Mine shipped out at 6pm exactly so I'm hoping that means Cork and not China. I have the same 17th date, which is just some arbitrary "you should have it within 10 days" affair, I bet.

Still no details on who the carrier is at this point. TNT needs a 9 digit number. That 80*** one isn't the tracking number. Does Apple's 'free shipping' include weekend delivery? I hate to think of this thing sitting in a depot all weekend when it could easily have gotten from Cork to London overnight.
 
I got an shipping email from apple last thursday and according to the TNT site my order moved from Ireland to the Netherlands last night.

Now it's waiting in a depot here getting ready to be delivered on monday I hope.

I ordered a stock 2x2.8 with 8800GT on the 15th of januari.
 
Something almost trancendental has happened!! :D

My Mac Pro has apparently shipped today, due for delivery by Feb 14th! That's 1 week before the estimated delivery date.

Surprised the hell out of me to be honest!

Finally. It's prepared for shipment, though it still says:

Estimated Delivery: 27 Feb, 2008

Hopefully I get it before saturday so i can play with it the whole weekend :)

Edit: It looks like i might get it for the weekend. Just got email that said it's shipped and it should be here by Friday 15th
 
Humm. How long does it take to get a tracking number. My MP was shipped in Friday but I haven´t got any numbers yet. Maybe that´s because of the weekend. Hope I see some numbers today.

I'm in a similar boat to you. It was reported as having shipped on Friday night and there is a tracking number and mention of the carrier being TNT. However, no consignment with that number can yet be found on TNT's tracking site.
