Members Waiting for Their Mac Pro w/ 8800GT to Ship (European market only)

I received an email shipping confirmation from Apple at 1900 on friday 8th, I watched and waited all weekend for the "delivery number" starting with 80 to show up on the tnt uk website. No luck.

I received an email on the way to work this morning which was my official invoice from Apple with the same delivery number. I logged onto tnt then selected UK on the "express" orange window. I entered the tracking number and I just get Not found on the page.

I might have a few problems getting the mac this week as no-one will be home. So they will attempt to deliver, but then I will have to wait until the weekend to collect it.

Oh well, if your in the same boat, whereby your UK tracking number shows as not found, but later does, please reply and let us know, then we can start hitting the tnt website again :)

Are you sure its going to be TNT? Mine says shipped and that carrier details will be updated shortly. It's the same since friday. :(
 
This is what the email said last Friday "Your order was shipped on 08.02.2008. Your Delivery Reference Number is 80xxxxxxxx. We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 14.02.2008."

I checked the invoice that I received this morning and this was addressed from the Cork, Ireland. I decided to call Apple and check who is the carrier. They confirmed it was TNT.

Apple tried my 80 number who also got a "not found" within the TNT tracking system. They explained that if the shipment hasn't left Ireland yet, it would not show up yet. They suggested I tried again tomorrow as it should be on there by then.

Hope this helps others.

Ordered on 3rd Feb and received shipped notification on Saturday 9th, Due on or before the 14th. Can't wait :D

Also, first post. Long time windows user switching (be gentle). So, erm, hello.
 
How to track: Assigned Carrier KUEHNE & NAGEL ..?

I have the regular 80... number and a RTML00 ++ number. Can't seem to find anything on Kuehne/nagel's site or Apecode..

Hang on... I ordered mine back in early January, and mine still says "Prepared for shipment" with an estimated shipping date of tomorrow (12th) and delivery on 19th. How come yours has been sent before mine? No fair, Apple! No fair!!!

On the plus side, there's a Dual 2.5GHz Power Mac G5 from November 2004 available from about 20th Feb should anyone like to make me an offer :)

2.5GB RAM, 250GB HDD (replaced by Apple in September 2007 as the original went kaboom), AE 802.11b/g and BT, wireless Apple Pro mouse and keyboard.

Mine is also carried by K&N. Nowhere to track that RTML number. I think they shipped our Mac Pros to China :rolleyes:

Good for you! :) When were you able to track it (sensibly)? I have several tracking numbers - RTML0047xxxx (K&N?), 3495xxxx (TNT?), 806816xxxx (the Apple tracking number), but so far none of them return anything sensible.

Apple's site (the BridgePoing thing) keeps telling me that Estimated Delivery Date was 09 Feb, and that it's "on schedule", but that's obviously bogus.
 
the apple number is the 80~ the other number on my order was 76~ and that was the one that tracks on the tnt site.

oh, and according to the txt my gf just sent from home, mine has arrived :) (in the uk, near brighton)
 
My status turned to 'prepared for shipment' on Friday afternoon but still says the same now. How long did other UK customers have to wait before it actually said 'shipped'?

My shipment was with the "NL Distribution Center" yesterday, and is today with Keuhne and Nagel. Mine was also shipped on Thursday, and the applebridge-page said it's still one for delivery two days ago.. :p

So, pretty much the same situation, can't track it anywhere either. I think the reason it takes so long for me is that the Pro has to "merge in transit" with a monitor though. Did you order more than just the Mac Pro?

Yes, I ordered two 23" ACDs, so I got the Merge In Transit treatment as well.

Assigned Carrier said "NL DISTRIBUTION CENTER" for me too, until early this morning, when it switched to K&N. Looks like we have an almost identical situation.
 
I got my mac pro with gf 8800gt ^^ my first ever mac and its sooo worth it even if I'm really confused how to do some things.

I got an Aperture with Mac Pro. Maybe that´s the reason why it take so long.

Me too, mine was also NL DISTRIBUTION CENTER and then changed to "Kuehne Nagel". There´s no progression after that.
 
By the way, what does the "Merge in transit" means? Being a finnish guy, well, it isn´t easy at the moment :)
