I haven't remembered my dreams on my own consistently since probably my early thirties. It is only if they are particularly jarring where I wake up right out of one that I remember it and that is very, very rare.

I recently had a dream that I could engage my students in a team-building exercise:

I would pair them up with a bucket of Q-Tips, and task them to time-compete with all the other pairs in stacking these QT's to elevation over a predefined period of time.

In my dream, I envisioned my students creating 120cm+ structures!

Over the past few days, no group has surpassed 18cm....

Pics. We need pics.

If not here, I dream that the Picture Gallery forum will gain a "Q-Tip Construction" thread.

Well, being that it is a predefined amount of time and your fastest pair of students achieved 18cm, you can simply expand your predefined amount of time by 7 and voila, your dream could become reality. :)

This 'activity' is a glue-free exercise.

I had two groups approach the exercise with a tetrahedral, and even one who (inadvertently?) started with a trigonal bypyramidal.

I tried to steer them to starting with a multi-footprint structure modeled by the Eiffel Tower, and that didn't get very far.

My classes are conducted in a PRTF, and even Q-Tips stretch propriety (I wanted to use toothpicks, but the pointy ones are verboten (and I can't seem to source retail 'flats')).

I'll probably have to source the last remaining flat-picks in existence from some eekBay storefront located in rural Wyoming....

I wish. I don’t remember my dreams anymore. Wish I did. What are some methods to better recall dreaming?
Usually my best recall of dreams is when in a light dream state and I’m still in a dream when I wake up, but dream recall is iffy as they fade so fast upon waking up. I have to immediately concentrate on the contents of the dream, and even then, later the broad strokes may remain, but not a lot of specific details remain. My neurologist has me taking donepezil to help with short term memory recall. One of its side effects, is more colorful dreams, some are little adventures. 🙂 she told me some people get nightmares while taking this drug. So far none,

Have a dream diary by your bed and jot down some key parts and then go back to sleep. I'll buy one of those cheap voice recorder pens from AliExpress some day and just talk into it quickly.
My wife was commenting on how restless of a sleeper I am; tossing and turning, getting up etc. it’s weird - I can usually fall asleep regularly but staying asleep is hard. I continually wake up multiple times through the night. I am almost certain I have dreams but the second I wake up from whatever, *poof* rarely any recall of them. I’ll try a dream diary. Maybe setting myself up with that expectation psychologically will change my actual sleep experience.
