Does the S2SS give you Flights Climbed with watchOS 4?

Negative. At least not unless phone going up/down with me. No barometric altimeter on the S2.

The white band comes with the SS Silver. I don’t like it (hetro male) and tend to agree with your wife. But it’s nice to see many people posting otherwise here.

I don't see anything gay about the white band. Question was about femininity on a man. Nice rainbow avatar though...... ;-) My oldest daughter is married to a a woman, so I'm an ally.

I also love the black&white combo, but the goddamn black stains the white... badly.
I haven't noticed any discoloration on the white strap, whether from the black half or from anything else. I keep rinsing and wiping it clean in the shower, though.

Good note. Got the other straps covered so far though (have S2SS and S3SBSS):

You're missing a few.

No bracelets? No dressy leather (croc or lizard)? No exotic materials like stingray?

You've got more to add than just a plain ol' white sport band, bruh. :p

I am heterosexual as well. A few ladies have even called me metrosexual (meticulous about grooming and appearance etc.) I think the band cuts across all lines.

Holy cannoli! That is an impressive collection!

(Woman and designer here and I vote white bands are unisex. But I’m not married and my cat Z has not voiced any opinions on my wardrobe and my favorite shirt color for men is pink.)

Pseudo-Fred,
Ask your wife if this band (Berry Stripe) is too feminine for a man to wear. I would be interested to see her response. I think it looks good. It is also in my collection. I have about 51 different bands. lol

That took a turn I wasn't expecting. The reason why I stated I was hetrosexual is people of different likes tend to have different tastes. Some homosexual men like feminine things and if they say they wear the white band, well, it's important to know for honestly answering your question.

The colors of the avatar are the actual colors, actual avatar, actual logo of Apple when it first started. I don't know why Steve and Woz went with it, but they did. Woz also wore rose colored apple shaped glasses at the time, so there was that too. In the late 70's, early 80's I don't recall the colors signifying anything social.

And no, I don't have any issues with what sexuality people choose or say they identify more with. Good for your oldest daughter. I'm glad she's happy. I have a brother and extended family that I care very much about who go that route too. Since you bring it up though, I think we are confusing generations of people with how they identify. Not too long ago a niece of mine stated she was PAN Sexual. That was a new term for me so of course I had to look it up. Means one minute you may identify under one sexual preference and the next you may identify differently. Not, apparently, the same thing as bi-sexual.

BTW - I have pink (or peach-like) shirts too. Still don't like the white band. Maybe I should say I have pale skin. I think it looks too feminine on me. :D

PAN AM airlines I knew about. The other I had to look up as well a while back. Just means we are old (compared to most of the people around us on here and elsewhere). *Shakes fist" 'Kids today with their new fangled electronic gadgets, accessories and terms that change from day to day or even hour to hour.'

Ha ha. Just poking. I'm very familiar with the history of that logo, which actually didn't come about until right before the launch of the Apple II. It was widely associated with the color gamut of the computer's capabilities. Apparently it was the most expensive brand logo ever to be developed and implemented for print adds, on the products themselves, etc. due to no borders between the colors. Of course.

I wear pink too. My wife is a 7 year survivor so far. I wear the pink paracord bracelets and pink shirts (appropriate cause clearly obvious on the shirts) and my favorite gym towels is the pink Race for the Cure hand towels. I've also had pink/coral/salmon colored shirts. All apparently okay.

Wife is happily letting me show her pics from this thread, so please keep them coming. She has upped the challenge however to "In the wild. Show me other men wearing the white bands in the wild". I explained the concentration of fans on the forums with multiple bands is way more prevalent than the likelihood of too many people "in the wild" who use other than the band that came with their watch, but we'll see.

More pics on wrists, please!

I was hoping to get the all black Apple Watch but they were sold out. So I was forced to get the "fog" Apple Watch - came with a white'ish grey band. I just got the White Nike band as well. I have had my watch just over a month. I've used white iPhones and have been called gay and feminine by other people for doing so while most have no problem with it - but I figure that's their insecurities coming out - never bothered me - happily married to my wife 6 years as of yesterday.

Apologies for the pic - I am terrible at selfies or anything of that sort.

I personally don't have a white band. Mostly because if you can't keep it white it looks like crap. Maybe someday I will get a white band but currently I like the dark colors. By far my favorite band is my paracord one. Kind of a pain to get it latched but totally worth it.

white bands are easy to keep clean. If necessary, quick wipe down occasionally will do it.

I don't think it looks feminine, but if I wore one and my wife thought it was I would defer to her judgement since, well, ya know, her opinion in matters of masculinity is clearly worth considering as her partner.

My wife used a white band and found that hydrogen peroxide and a rag keep it like new. Used that band for over a year on her gen 2 and looks new today.

I got the white sport band with my Series 3 SS watch. I tried it for a few weeks and ended up giving it to my girlfriend. It just didn't look good with my skin tone. I would give the white Nike band a try though.

I'm a woman, wife, and mother. I think the white sports band looks great on you.

So my wife is questioning my addition of the white sport band. I wear it with S2SS and S3SBSS. She says it looks......feminine. I showed her a couple pics online and told her I saw plenty of dudes wearing it in review vids, etc. I'm 5'9", athletic forearms and wear a 42mm watch on 6.75" wrist.

I poked around on search but didn't see a dedicated thread.

Would appreciate some pics of dudes wearing the white sport band! The harrier the arms, the better..... ;-)

Edited to add here's mine:

I think this boils down to confidence and personality.
You can rock any watch/accessory if you have the fashion sense and style to make it work.

BUT...as long as you're true to yourself. Nothing worse than trying to pull off a look that just isn't you.

I’m not sure it has to do with self confidence, but more so with tying to find a middle ground that works for both the poster and his wife.

That band looks totally normal and good on you. I do think as a man I enjoy wearing a darker band in formal wear and work situations but that white looks casual and modern in almost all other situations to me. I don't agree at all with others here about "happy wife, happy life"... you do you, your wife in the long run will appreciate a man with his own sense of personal style and the backbone to stand up for himself far more than adding another notch on the "he does what I tell him" wall where respect is sent to die. 17 years married here.
