I was just watching a YouTube video on carnival game scams & the guy on the video is wearing a white Apple Watch band.

Cool. Thanks. Nice watch band. And the carnie thing is also fascinating.

Another real life pic, this time at IKEA with the fireworks animation for New Year’s.

I picked up my Nike platinum band last week and couldn't be happier with it. Great contrast to my Space Black SS watch.

Thank you. I have one of those to and agree it looks super with SBSS watch. Wife sees no issues with it--only the all white sport band.

Appreciate the help so far. Would appreciate some more pics if you could take the time. Thank you.

My new :apple: SS with White Sports Band. I'm not seeing this as feminine although I do see this as a good unisex style.

I had a series 0 SS that came with the black leather loop. I would never consider wearing a white band. I bought the series 3 SS with the white band and find I really like it and wear it more than I thought I ever would.

I really like the white sport strap. I’m a woman but when I notice it on a man I generally think it’s a good look.

So my wife is questioning my addition of the white sport band. I wear it with S2SS and S3SBSS. She says it looks......feminine. I showed her a couple pics online and told her I saw plenty of dudes wearing it in review vids, etc. I'm 5'9", athletic forearms and wear a 42mm watch on 6.75" wrist.

I poked around on search but didn't see a dedicated thread.

Would appreciate some pics of dudes wearing the white sport band! The harrier the arms, the better..... ;-)

Help a guy out?

Edited to add here's mine:

Don't hate me, but when I glanced at the pic - I thought it was a woman. I guess it does look feminine to me.

That said, if you like it, then who cares?

I don’t think it looks remotely feminine.

While I really like the standard white sport strap and I like the Nike sport straps in general I don’t like the platinum one at all. To me, the white of that one is all wrong; I know it doesn’t but it looks like it might glow in the dark (and not in a good way).

Honestly, it’s strange that your wife would make such a ridiculous comment. You should ask her to show you what chapter of the book of feminist it says that white watch bands are feminine. It’s a ridiculous judgment. I’m an athletic male and wear a white band. Never ever had anyone comment other then compliments on it.

Generally agree. However, this is my wife and so her input is part of the contract. Just looking to change her perspective a little if possible.

I would refer to your own judgment on masculinity since, you know, you’re a guy.

I don't think it looks feminine, but if I wore one and my wife thought it was I would defer to her judgement since, well, ya know, her opinion in matters of masculinity is clearly worth considering as her partner.

Honestly not sure what one woman’s opinion has to do with feminism, especially when that opinion is about something looking feminine on a man which isn’t exactly a topic feminism focuses on!

I don't have the white sport anymore (I did a trade in of my original S0), but I wore it all the time.

I also have & wear the pink band often, but I"ll match it with accessories (I've rocked pink shoelaces, shirts, etc.) Thinking of picking up the ultra violet band...

My girlfriend actually liked it, because it coordinated with what I wore it with (And I wore the pink all Oct for great cancer awareness)

I'll wear / style any color combo. From classic black to mixing the style up with any color in the spectrum.

The white band looks cool on you. And depending on, from a fashion sense, what you wear it with, it could look even cooler.

I think the more you wear it, she'll get used to seeing it, haha!

Cool, thanks.

Right, thanks. I've already put the white strap away and rotated on. It will get more time in the gym with weights, with sweatshirts, etc.

White isn't girly or gay. It's just a color and a matter of preference. I bought the watch S2 with the white band, still think it's one of the finest looking combinations, though I also prefer a leather or stainless band.
