I picked up my Nike platinum band last week and couldn't be happier with it. Great contrast to my Space Black SS watch.

Just added the amazon version to cart lol

This reminds me of when the iPhone 3G was released in black and white, and lots of idiots saying the white iPhone was for women only. I ended up getting the white model because I will always prefer classic Apple white, and I loved using that iPhone naked. I also think the iPhone X silver (pearl white) looks so much better than the space gray.

My white sport band isn’t my favorite (that title goes to my Nike blue orbit/gamma blue) so I don’t wear it as much. But I always get compliments when I do wear it, and I don’t think it’s feminine at all.

So my wife is questioning my addition of the white sport band. I wear it with S2SS and S3SBSS. She says it looks......feminine. I showed her a couple pics online and told her I saw plenty of dudes wearing it in review vids, etc. I'm 5'9", athletic forearms and wear a 42mm watch on 6.75" wrist.

I poked around on search but didn't see a dedicated thread.

Would appreciate some pics of dudes wearing the white sport band! The harrier the arms, the better..... ;-)

Help a guy out?

Edited to add here's mine:

I'd let it go. How tall you are or how big your wrists are do not matter. If you like it, feel comfortable with it, then wear it. Disagreeing with your wife and ignoring her comments tells me you are man enough to wear a white band. Any band for that matter. For the record I respect all woman, but she needs to respect you as well.

Agree-thanks. I will wear it in rotation. As another poster said about having a pink band--I think I'll search for and buy a Breast Cancer awareness pink band. My wife is a 7 year survivor now and does not have a problem when I wear the pink shirt or sweatshirt or even pink paracord bracelet during awareness month. Wearing pink doesn't clear up her perception on the white band, but it certainly could be perceived as feminine by others who see it and don't know why I'm wearing it. Save the TaTas!

Really want that NIKE Version.

When I upgraded from the series 0, I was in the apple store debating, but decided for the same amount of money & function, I'd get a cooler band & extra watch faces! (I don't use any of the nike run features, but I like that its there should I ever choose to!)

Going to pull the trigger on the amazon knock off white/black band

I like white band when it’s over 90F White reflects and black drawers, my only question is can you wear a white watchband with the white suit shirt

There is literally nothing Apple that doesn’t look better in white. They almost single-handedly invented the colour (not that technically white is a colour, but I digress).

I say this in the nicest possible way... when women consider you masculine, then they will see ANYTHING you wear or any behavior as masculine. women LOVED and drapped themselves all over Prince and he was 5'2 and wore women's high heels and sometimes makeup. if a woman begins questioning your white apple watch band (which I love and wear all the time myself) then i'd start looking at the bigger picture of why.
