Jaybird Bluebuds X. Great sound, lifetime swetproof warranty, liquipel coated, 8 hour battery, and comfortable. Love, love, love em'!

I agree they are awesome. But there is a very slight delay if you pay attention.

Mine arrived Friday, been using them and love them, but the delay in videos was frustrating. The update fixed this issue (I was unaware they could be updated until this forum). I'm glad I chose them.

Just wondering if anyone has had good experience with any Bluetooth headsets wtith Apple Watch? I have the Plantronics Backbeat 2 and they keep cutting out...it's really irritating.

Has anyone experienced constant Bluetooth drops with the watch and headset? I've done the restart, forget device and re-pair but still have issues.

Posted earlier in the Beats thread, I thought I would also post my experience with the 2 units here:

Hey all, I just got back from my apple store and had a sample session with their wireless headphones and thought I would share. Just a quick background, I would consider myself an audiophile. I own a pair of $600 Shure In-ear studio monitors that I use for most of my music listening. But with my new watch purchase I figure some wireless bluetooth headphones would be in order for the gym.
I am going to try and help people decide if you are not able to try them for yourself.

- If you want a pretty accurate soundstage and hear all instruments the way the band intended get the Jaybirds.

-If you like a loud sound with lots of low end and bass but a sort of muffled high end go with the wireless beats.

I am not trying to knock either of the units, they just appeal to different crowds. For example, when I tested the Beatles, they sounded much better on the jaybirds, where as something like hip hop would probably be more enjoyable on the beats. Just wanted to share my experience testing them in store in case it helps people.

Just got my powerbeats 2 wireless today and SO SO HAPPY with them . Over the ear and caught weight great sound. I took my jaybirds back lasted today and ordered beats . Jaybirds sounded good issues with them were never got a good fit so they fell out and those wings hurt my ears , another not they felt cheap . For $169(on sale for $124) I feel like it didn't feel like a premium item.

I ended up getting beat for $159 so I ran with that and so happy I did

Also I don't get any delay in video at all. I haven't updated firmware either fresh out the box .

Assuming I'm ok keeping my phone with me, what are the advantages to BT paired to the Watch?

I exercise daily. And for a while I did the wireless thing (Jaybirds). But I'd get annoyed of the drops in connection, forget to charge them, slightly less quality sound.

So I switched to yourbuds and have never turned back. However when they had a sale to clear out old stock I did get a wireless pair, but still sitting in the box.

I've had my watch a week and 6 workouts using wired into my phone. I like that I can control songs and volume (and more) with my watch. What benefits to I gain going wireless? Is it ONLY the ability to leave my phone in the locker room?

Am I the only one using Beats Solo 2 Wireless headphones? Maybe a bit pricey to be constantly sweating on, but they've held up remarkably well over the first few weeks. And if there are issues, well, I can take them to the Genius Bar. Pretty nice aspect.

And the sound is excellent. Wireless quality is fine, and they turn into regular Solo 2s when you plug them in. Pretty sure audiophiles have had positive things to say about what Beats did here.

My powerbeats2 wireless headphones arrived today but I'm having problems syncing with my watch
Has anyone else had issues?

So does Apple officially service Beats products now regardless of where they were purchased?

I'm wondering this as well. I'd be more inclined to buy some Bluetooth Beats if I could visit the Apple store for returns or warranty claims.

I expect that Apple will announce wireless EarPods powered by their Beats acquisition. My guess would be once they've worked through their Watch order backlog and everybody who wants one has theirs. Probably in time for the holiday season.

THIS!!!!

I've been trying to explain this to people. However it has fallen on deaf ears. If you like pop music dance music and hip hop generally speaking you will appreciate BEATS more. However, I do tend to enjoy a significant amount of alt/rock as well and I appreciated the additional bass with these styles as well. I just don't like trebly sounding music. In fact I pretty much can't stand it as it hurts my ears.

Love the Jaybirds

I am going to have to agree with everyone that says Jaybird Bluebuds X. These have been my workout headphones for about 3 years now, and the only time I had any problems was when I left them in my pocket through the washing machine/dryer, and I ended up replacing them. :)
