The thing is I don't really know what Bluetooth headphones to buy. I'm not that bothered about sound quality if I'm being honest, more price, battery life and comfort.

Has anyone got any suggestions?
If you want in-ear I'd recommend the Jaybird Bluebuds X.

If you're interested in cheaper and on-ear, I also have the Sony DR-BTN200M. The build quality is pretty good but not premium, no padded headband but they're very comfortable. The sound is great though I'm no audiophile. The battery life is amazing, quoted 40hrs and I'd believe it I've never run them flat. Also pretty cheap, available from Amazon UK for £40 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-DR-BTN200M-Bluetooth-Wireless-Connectivity-Black/dp/B00C3SN8TM

PROBLEM with Bluebuds X and Watch

Hey everyone. I just got a pair of the Bluebuds. Having trouble getting one side to stay in but *aside* from that...

Has anyone had any problem with playing music back off :apple:WATCH?
(not iPhone controlling through the watch, I already loaded music on and changed the source to the Watch itself).

I have music which will play, and then if I let the watch face go to sleep it will continue to play. Then if I activate the face, the music pauses itself?

I am going to try restarting but I really hope this isn't a bug because it'll mean no sans-iPhone workouts for now.

I have no audio lag on videos with my Powerbeats 2, they fixed that in an update a while back and the new ones ship with that update on it. I LOVE my Powerbeats! Perfect if you work out and great even if you don't! Can't wait to use them with my Apple Watch

really no lag ????
oh man now you got me thinking
the Jaybird bluebuds on sale for 124.99 at best buy
or the powerbeats 2 wireless are 199.99 tho so more $$$

Suggestions for BT Headphones?

Any suggestions for BT headphones, need over-ear hook, don't want to spend more than $50 (I have a tendency to lose earbuds and such), don't really need noise cancelling. Mostly want for ability to listen to music while outside walking or exercising. Thanks!

Thanks, I have been going through those but there are a lot of options to sort through, many of which are not within my parameters. Thought I'd take a chance someone had a suggestion for me that met my criteria.

I feel like whenever there is a thread like this, which was already pointed out, the original one should be a wiki post so all options can be seen within the first post and not have users searching through pages and pages. For me, I bought SoundPeats off Amazon for $30. With that price I was surprised how good they are. Time will tell if they bust or the BT radio fails but I've been enjoying them at the gym for a month

I recently ordered these Soundpeats from Amazon for my Watch and couldn't be happier. Quality is surprisingly good, they come with a variety of buds and hooks for your ears. I use them for music when I run and audiobooks while I cook and do work around the house. They stay put and charging them is easy, though you do need to charge them every 8-10 hrs worth of listening or so.

If you can find a pair of Beats Solo2 Wireless or Powerbeats2 Wireless on sale, they are both pretty decent.

Best Buy had the JayBird Bluebuds X $124.99 so im gave them a shot. I'll try them for a week . if not im taking them back and getting the beats instead

Sorry if those links weren't any help.

Have you looked into these?

-good reviews
-over the ear hook
-under $50

Thank you, and it's not that the links weren't helpful, just that it's a lot to wade through! I will take a look at the Mpow, thank you!

Thank you, it didn't look like those had over the ear hooks, so I wasn't sure. I appreciate your feedback!

Yes, yes, yes :) It's great that there are so many people on here, and so many great responses to questions, but if you haven't been following the posts all along then it becomes an awful lot to wade through. Thanks for your suggestion.

Since my girlfriend and I both got Apple Watches, we of course needed to get some Bluetooth headphones to match :roll eyes:

We were on the fence between two models which are the most popular on the web. The following are my findings so far:

1. Jaybirds Bluebuds X
Normally these are $169, but Bestbuy has them one sale right now for $124.99. So we went there today and bought the last two they had.

Personally, I didn't like the feel of them. I think my ear canal is smaller than most. I needed to use the smallest bud cups and that made the music sound horrible. If I pushed them in and held them there, I would get better sound quality and deeper bass. However, my girlfriend likes them and decided to keep them. I will hold onto mine for a couple weeks and see if I like the Beats; which I am getting to below ;)

2. Beats Powerbeats 2
I was never a fan of Beats headphones. Too overpriced and the ones I tested in the past just didn't have the sound I was looking for. Plus, I am not the type that wants huge headphones on my head. I am perfectly fine using the default Apple wired ones that come with the iPhone. They sound great. I digress...So, my friend was over the other day and had a pair of the Powerbeats and I asked how they were. He praised them and said they worded great. I wasn't too happy with the 6 hour battery life, but they looked nice and I like the wrap around the ear piece.

After being a tad disappointed with the Jaybirds, I went online and found a sweet deal on a pair of Powerbeats 2 for $130 with free shipping. I know, crazy right?! They will be here this week and I will update this post with more details and my thoughts. I hope these will sound better than the Jaybirds did for me.

do share where you got the deal.

I just bought the powerbeats2. I love them.

I just bought them to test out and damn they are pretty damn good, I wasn't sure I was going to keep them but now I'm thinking I might..

Most importantly, no suction into your ears like most headphones with the silicone tips. It took some readjusting but my work out this morning at the gym was great, about to go on an hour walk to see how they do outside.

would love wireless earpods. I find in ear headphone very uncomfortable and don't like the isolation form the real world.

The Earin headphones look awesome but I would imagine they jam in your ear, thus uncomfortable.

Strange that apple haven't got a solution considering the watch comes with local storage to play music through Bluetooth headphones :/

I ended up trying some powerboat 2's on at an apple store and bought them. Find them very comfortable with the smallest buds and they are well secured with the ear hooks.

I purchased these Mpow's and received them last week. They were on sale for $22 so I figured for such a low price I might as well give them a chance.

I wasn't expecting much but they have been amazing!!! I can take calls on them, listen to music through my watch or phone, and they fit great in my ear! I did some yard work over the weekend and wore them outside for 5 hours. I could not ask for a better low price Bluetooth headset.

I'm pretty pleased with the Sony MW600s

I posted this on another thread but wanted to share my BT setup.

I've had these for a few years but after testing them over the last week I can say that they work well for music and voice calls. What I love most about the Sony MW600 is that it can pair to up to three devices (iPhone, Watch and iPad) and while it comes with a nice short set of in-ear headphones it allows you to use any pair you might already have. For the gym I use a pair of cheaper "sport" headphones that wrap around my ear and are sweat resistant and secure. For more critical listening I use my Etymotic IEMs and for basic all around use I plug in the ones it comes with or my Apple EarPods.

A few other benefits are: 11 hrs of talk time, a built in FM radio, small clip on footprint, micro USB rechargeable, call, Siri and music control from the remote, digital read out on the remote display, comes in white and black, good volume and decent sound for music.

I've tested with my Apple Watch and it works well regardless if it's via music stored on my phone or music stored directly on my Watch.

Finally for around $50 it's not that big of an investment.

If only they made a good wireless version of the Bose ie2 or Soundtrue. The sound, fit and design is hands down better than any other earbud I've ever tried, and I've tried many.

I feel the same way. I finally ended up getting this

Throw out the included earbuds, and plug in the Bose. It's light enough that you can clip it onto the earphone wire. For me, it's the perfect solution until Bose comes out with wireless earphones.
