I was wondering when this question would come up.

I just bought the Beats Powerbeats 2 Wireless. Awesome earbuds and I love the wireless feeling.

Not as good sound isolation as my wired Klipsch headphones but I had had enough of them slipping out of my ears during running.

I just ordered the powerbeats 2 last night! I'm glad people seem to agree with them in this thread. I'd mostly be using in the gym.

Have you tried replacing the buds with comply earbuds? They block out a TON of sound, and are memory foam so they expand and do not fall out.

I'm a fan of Jaybird Bluebuds X since they've been working perfectly over the past couple of months during workouts. Sound quality is nice and 8 hours of battery per charge.

Powerbeats are designed to allow ambient noise to enter for safer jogging. If you're looking for sound isolation different tips may help

The PowerBeats 2 Wireless get more 1-star reviews than anything else on Apple's Online Store. Should this be ignored?

Edit: Also, can these be paired to multiple devices at once? Looking for headphones that can seamlessly switch between my phone and Watch

Oh yes they block out tons of noise I have not dissatisfied with that don't worry.

I'm just saying my Klipsch block out slightly more. And yes I have been playing with the tips.

My Klipsch blocked out so much noise that I was jogging, turned around to go back at a major road to go back to my apartment, and didn't even hear a car crash about 75 yards away.

Its not enough noise to bother me but I just notice hear a little bit more ambient at times but they stay in my ears unlike my Klipsch.

The fact that the Beats don't fall out make them worth way more than the Klipsch. Granted they are about $100 I believe.

There are two that I am eager to try. Neither one are out yet, but the first Is the Bragi Dash. The next is Ear In. Both of these have a great form factor and features for their design. I just want to hear the quality. If it is remotely decent, I will be buying one.

Besides the noise isolation differences, how do the beats sound compared to the kilpsch? Better? Worse?

I currently have the S4i abd love the sound. I'm looking at Bluetooth headphones and have narrowed it down to powerbeats2, bluebud x, or jabra rox.

A lot of the one star reviews are because of the voice and audio being out of sync when watching a video, which has since been fixed with a firmware update.

And seriously who is watching a video and working out at the same time? Unless it's a workout video.

Well I'm happy it's been fixed but I don't see your second point as valid. Even though these are workout oriented I'm sure 99% of people use them for normal use as well.

I'm 99% sure I want to get the Bluebird X's. How is the seal on them? I'm currently using a pair of Klipsch Image S4I II's and I love them.
Also, I've read about comply tips. Why do some prefer those over the supplied tips?

I usually do some elliptical at the gym, mostly when warming up and when I do, I tend to watch videos.

I had the bluebuds x, but the one issue I had was that they would fall out of my ears when I would sweat on my runs even with the retention wings. I later bought a pair of blueant Pumps and love them! They are waterproof, and very secure. I just wish they were lower profile and had a little better base. They have a great seal though.

The stock buds are just average for a seal depending on your ear. I bought the Comply tips and used the Medium size and they're much tighter seal.

The reason why most buy them with the bluebuds is that they are a foam based bud that you squeeze into a smaller foam them stick it in your ear and it will expand to the natural size of your ear opening.

I've used several, I would stay away from the powerbeats, the earbud broke from the base after only 2 months. I had problems with the jaybirds staying in my ears until I got comply tips for them. Just ran a half marathon with the jaybirds last month with no problems.

Honestly not too much unless your an audio head. The Klipsch has stronger bass but that's about it. I just listened to them back to back and the Klipsch had much higher bass at the same volume level.

Since the Klipsch seem to seal better on my ears it's a tad bit better.

I'm really torn between getting the Powerbeats2 or the Bluebuds X?

I've never had earbuds before, but want something to use for when I go running or cycling. I'm thinking maybe Powerbeats as they have the loop that goes above the ear too?

I'm in the same boat. Worth noting the beats are 200 and jay birds can be had for 130...

I've had both. Decided to keep the Powerbeats. Here's why. First, I couldn't maintain a solid seal with any of the stock tips with the Bluebuds. At the gym if I turned my head a certain way, the seal was gone and the bass became nonexistent. I was constantly adjusting them. With the Powerbeats, this is not an issue because of the over the ear loop.

Sure I could have bought the comfy tips for the Bluebuds, but I still found the Powerbeats to be more comfortable right out of the box. Plus, I didn't like the idea of having to buy a separate pair of plugs in order to make them work better for me. I felt like the Bluebuds went further into my ear canal which I'm not a fan of because it feels like plungers on my ears. I use the largest ear tips with my Powerbeats and they rest right at the base of my ear canal and still provide decent sound isolation.

My last little peeve with the Bluebuds is that when you raise or lower the volume, it has abrupt breaks in the music, as opposed to just hearing the music gradually progress. I listen to my music pretty loud and it's kind of jarring when raising the volume.

Just my 2 cents.

I have a pair of cheap bluetooth earbuds and I am wondering if it makes sense to upgrade. I have the Soundpeats Qy7 and they are surprisingly good. They fit my ears without falling out, the sound is decent etc... The only annoying part is that I have to re- pair them everytime I go out for a run, which I find kind of annoying. Is that normal with any bluetooth earbuds, or is it just these ones?

I was given the powerbeats 2 as a gift, as I would have never bought a beats product for myself at their current pricing. I will have to admit, I've used many headphones in my time cycling, and I will say that these are the winner so far.
The battery life, the good quality (I'm not going to say they're excellent, they're still tiny earbuds), they stay attached extremely well, and they don't have much to complain about. The video sync issue was "resolved" in an update.. But it's Bluetooth. There will always be a slight audio sync issue because Bluetooth requires encoding and transmission then decoding.

I was on the fence between bluebuds and powerbeats 2 wireless as well....

The high price of the powerbeats 2 made me take a long time to decide which to get, but eventually settled on the powerbeats 2. The price is too high, but then again, they are the only one that works best for me.

Reasons: The over-the-ear clip works so much better. They stay on, and I don't have to worry about them falling off.

All the inner-ear clips like the bluebuds just didn't feel snug enough, and didn't feel great when I was sweating, like they might fall out. They didn't fall out, but they felt they would. I didn't like the feeling. I did touch them to 'secure them back' occasionally, so maybe that's why they didn't fall out. Never had that feeling with the powerbeats 2.

I also liked the ability to hear outside sounds using the powerbeats 2 - I'll be using them biking, and I need to hear my music or audiobook while also not losing a car engine sound. The bluebuds felt too isolating. Yes, if you want that, they might be better, but I don't.
