Nope I don't, nor do I think they should. They should be using those man hours and resources for the iPhone 5. Yes I'm serious.

Since many, maybe most people say that while the phone drops bars it's still more than usable, and maybe just as many wouldn't know the difference if it wasn't "documented" I am one of those. I tend to think I hear a crisper voice on the other end than on any other phone I've used.

Even if this phone was a bust, which it never ever will be (1.7 million and climbing), going backwards isn't Apple. Hell, it isn't anyone.

Why has the white phone been delayed? My .02 is that there is no reason other than having 2 launch dates. Just like the "lost bar phone" Its genius (pun intended).

I think I will add a line of service and buy the white iPhone and see for myself, and run a few "tests" side by side, "death grip" to "death grip". Then pay the ETF, and sell whichever phone I don't want (which 99.99% of me says that will be white) for a profit. People are paying astronomical figures for white phones. Might as well try to cash out. We'll see.

Well of course there will be a hardware fix, otherwise Apple would be selling broken phones, it´s that simple.

But the thing is, if people are so stupid that they are fine with broken phones (literally taking it up the "posterior" from Apple) and don´t return the broken phones like common sense would make you do, I guess there won´t be a hardware fix. But if there will be, it will be a silent one, we´ll never know it. Some will have broken phones and some will have fully working phones.

I´m buying iPhone 4, but if it´s broken, I´m gonna return it, that´s just common sense folks.

But it´s your right to be stupid of course.

If you are so sure why did you ask if a hardware fix was coming?

In order to do any hardware 'fix' of this at all would require Apple to re-submit the new design to the FCC and go through a lengthy approval process all over again. So if a hardware change in design is ever made, you'll hear about it via the FCC process well before it makes it to production.

I highly doubt that they will have an announcement. They'll probably have an advertisement on the Apple.com site when it does become available or available for pre order. I'm putting my apples on an advertisement on this coming Tuesday or Thursday.

I just want my white iPhone 4 already. I switched over from BlackBerry and been using my backup phone, an old RAZR V3.

True any hardware changes but there are several things Apple could be doing that would not require recertification. They could be tightening up tolerances in manufacturing, increasing QC to be more stringent, changing material sources. They could also put some kind of coating on the antenna bands to reduce or eliminate bridging the antenna.

Bars go down on my wife's phone with the bumper....but that is with the death grip. I have a feeling the bumper helps quite a bit with "normal" use.
