I'm still confused why everyone gets mad if some electronic they bought is broken. Maybe it doesn't phase me since I worked in electronics retail (best buy and circuit city) and now work in IT so I see broken stuff ALL the time.
If it doesn't work, exchange or return it. Most electronics have a 6 months labor 12 months parts warranty or higher.
Not to mention because everyone likes good electronics at cheap prices, companies use mass production. These things will always happen in mass production and if you are an early adopter you will see it more. Not every bug/problem can be found in the lab because usually its only a small percentage of people affected and everyone else is fine, but on the internet everything gets blown out of proportion to make small problems look like huge issues.
If you want to play it safe, don't be an early adopter. Simple as that. I myself don't mind the gamble of early adoption since I know I can return the product if it doesn't work.
