haha you go watch your laker parade and hope your breakfast was good. Don't choke on your bacon![]()
I am in the same boat as you...except mine is black. I ordered at 12:48 PM PDT on June 8.
I am in Connecticut BTW.
I was extremely irritated a few days ago, but at this point I'm just tired of this whole debacle. Apple has left zero leeway for the people who ordered earliest. Slightest thing goes wrong and we dont get them until next week. Really fair - it should be the other way around - the people who ordered the latest should have them shipped last. But what are we going to do? There is no alternative to an iPhone and Apple knows it. So they dont care if we dont get them on the 19th like they promised.
I still kind of wonder if Apple screwed up the earliest orders after the keynote. It would explain why, as a group, we have still not received our tracking numbers, while virtually everyone else have. It would also explain the incorrect order status delivery and shipping dates.
Apple is going to be busy enough on Friday as it is...I really dont want to spend the day on the phone with them complaining about how they blew my order - one of the first ones made - while they had no problems filling orders made over a week after mine. So hopefully all is as they claim and we will get them on Friday. We will see.

..it's 2:43PM here
I ordered my iPhone 3GS on June 10th at 4:14 PST. I received a "prepared for shipment" email on June 11th. That was the last I've heard from Apple. My order status has not changed. I did not select overnight shipping in the ordering process because the phrase "Delivered by June 19th" was plastered all over everything. My order status still says "delivered by June 19th," but I'm worried I haven't received and info yet.
What's also troubling is my mom says that her credit card was not charged. Also, under "Shipping Method" it says "Priority." Does this mean Apple is shipping me my iPhone through Priority Mail (which will take a week at best) or does it mean that my shipment is a priority to Apple and I'll receive it Friday?
I would have happily waited at the AT&T in the small town near where I live. I could have easily got in and got out but I figured getting it shipped to my door would be pretty cool.
Also, receiving my iPhone early would be a dream because I could activate it early and avoid the server slow down/crash like last year.
I've never ordered anything from the Apple Store before and I do not have an Apple Store within 150 miles of my house.
Any help or reassuring words would be appreciated.
woohoo im in the washington post!!!!!!!! were in the washington post!

My phone has been in Louisville since 2:06 a.m. The way UPS works for me, my iPhone would be put on a plane for Phoenix, and then driven by truck to Tucson. I currently have a delivery date of tomorrow on the tracking page. However, it's starting to get too late for a Phoenix-bound plane to leave Louisville and arrive in time for the package to board the Tucson-bound truck. Looks like I'll have to wait until Friday like everyone else![]()

IT WILL BE THERE ON TIME!
You have no need to worry, it's only Wednesday. Apple is amazing with shipping. Just as you think you are fu**ed, they pull one out their as*es and say, "This is perfect for nateharr".![]()

I ordered my phone on announcement day and my wife's six days later. Both phones are stuck in "prepared for shipment" status. I don't think the time or order placement is the cause, I think earlier posts about shipments coming from the US and the destination are the reason we're not having ours shipped from China. I live just outside Washington DC and ordered two 16GB Black units. These are probably pre-staged at a US distribution center for delivery to large metro areas.
I am rationalizing!![]()
