A plane that seems to have been carrying 40,000 Apple iPhone 3GS's to the United States has fallen into the Pacific Ocean. We will update you shortly.

ok so it is now technically the 18th where I live, and I have gotten no shipment notification or tracking #. Should I start getting worried yet? Note: ordered on the 10th.

The UPS plane that has fallen into the Pacific Ocean which is said to be carrying is being found. There is said to be 40,000 lost victims. 40,000 of them are said to be iPhone 3GS's. The owners of these are being contacted as soon as possible. Remains are starting to be found. There is a sad face on every iPhone. :(

same here, but the plane vanished but when u click the photo its back.

I just checked my order status ? ?? The quantity has changed, it went from Qty backordered 1 to Qty backordered 0 and Qty ordered 0 to Qty ordered 1

First time in a week that I see a change in my status !!!

Where do you see the miles? Is it near the plane symbol?

Under the blue "Progress" bar it says "Status" in green..it lists the miles.
this info is from flightaware, not other sites.

Where does it go from KY?
It gets separated into its own distribution window based on shipping location, then trucks or planes (depends on how far you are from hub) pick them up and deliver to the nearest UPS distrubution center to you.

If you didn't already call Apple, they have an automated message saying all pre-orders before the 17th will be shipped for delivery on the 19th. So it should ship by tomorrow probably from a US facility.
 
Meh .. I gave up caring now -- the damn phone will come whenever ...
