Sure its been mentioned before but according to UPS, Apple has requested a hold on all deliveries until Friday AM. Looks like nothing's leaving KY till sometime Thurs.

My husband's was one of the first to ship and is sitting in Louisville.
Mine, (ordered ten mins after his on the 8th) still at prepared for shipment
I need to see some movement for tomorrow!! Apple said we will get both on the 19th and UPS said that my husband's will arrive tomorrow... we shall see!

I'm in the same boat... Still "Prepared For Shipment"
The page still says delivery by the 19th.
I'm wondering, maybe they already have a large shipment coming to the US, and they will then overnight them sometime on the 18th.
I haven't given up hope yet.
The hold is still on my credit card, transaction hasn't gone through...
I dunno. I already have the day off on friday to sit and wait for the delivery guy.

The UPS plane that has fallen into the Pacific Ocean which is said to be carrying is being found. There is said to be 40,000 lost victims. 40,000 of them are said to be iPhone 3GS's. The owners of these are being contacted as soon as possible. Remains are starting to be found. There is a sad face on every iPhone.

I think it was determined that the cargo planes being used can hold roughly 300K+ iphones given nothing else was on them. Had your story actually been real there would be much more fatalities and a whole forum full of nerds getting pissed off.
I'm pretty sure this is the case unless a plane leaves Shanghai in the next few hours.
Wait until the phones start moving in the UPS network again... it will start to pick up quickly as people see the phones getting closer to their house.
