Same here. I ordered mine about 90 minutes after the keynote. One of my coworkers ordered his on the 16th and his is already in the US, shipping via Fedex. Another is going to try at the apple and att stores tomorrow on his way to work. If those jokers get theirs on Friday and I don't, I will never hear the end of it

When they actually pick up your package, thats when its going to update. Just relax, they should be picking up the packages pretty soon.

Not sure how it can make it. It's probably got to make it to Kentucky via Alaska by midnight +/- 2 hours. Maybe someone could work up a best case scenario on the logistics.

Isn't it still First come first served? PAid or not, if you don't come early they may run out. Not guaranteed to get one on the 19th. If i understood AT&T correctly.

I noticed most people have an "arrival" and "departure" scan from Hong Kong whereas all us latecomers have an "import" scan. Is it possible that the customs issues are being done in Hong Kong and that we are bypassing Louisville entirely? Maybe that is how our phones will be here by tomorrow.
My credit card was just charged about 1/2 hour ago, so things are starting to move along; I'm expecting my phone will be leaving Kentucky sometime after 8pm tonight, and will be in my hands by mid-morning.

People had been advised to call Apple to get the charge reversed, but before I even did so, I received an email from Apple stating that they were going to credit me... so it appears that those of us who did overpay don't have to do anything to get our money back.

After a week of wondering where the hell my iPhone was, it's great to know that it's in Tennessee, and will be delivered tomorrow. I'm at peace. I was just really irritated the past few days since it hadn't shipped, and I had no idea why. I thought it was still in China and there was no way I was getting it tomorrow! Apple pulled through though...thanks

ATT pre-orders are direct fulfillment. I was charged when it shipped and I have a box waiting for me with my name on it. If they sold my phone to someone else, that's fraud.
i figured that. i've noticed with all packages i've ever ordered that the status sometimes never updates or has a million updates at once that don't really fit a schedule. no need to worry i got my Apple email so i know i'll wake up tomorrow to get my phone! it's like christmas in June!
