Curious: is there anyone who bought the original 3G in July of '08 who was told by AT&T that they would NOT get the upgrade refund? (I think one of the stipulations was that your bill was over $99 / mo--so don't reply if you're at the lowest rate plan)
No upgrade refund for me! I paid FULL price...ouch! Good thing I got a lot for my 3G on ebay.
Nice. I think mine will be on a flight from Kentucky to Burbank but it doesnt leave tille 3:20am EST or something. Gets to Burbank at 4:23am or something. Then will get on a truck to Van Nuys then To my House!
If it says that you will receive it by tomorrow, don't mark my words, but I'm sure you will. Sometimes FedEx cannot update the information all the time but the time given should be when you receive it.
I have had multiple experiences with UPS and FedEx where it says "billing info. received" and the scheduled delivery and nothing was updated.
Luckily my iPhone 3GS is on its way to Virginia!

You know how many flights go in and out of Kentucky from UPS every day? You know how long it takes for a jet airplane traveling at 600+mph to get to cali? A lot of them, and not that long....relax, you'll get your phone tomorrow.
Seriously. It takes 4 hours and with the time change it takes 1 hour. So chill out.
That's plenty of time. My package this morning landed in Oakland at 3:43 and didn't leave Oakland til close to 5:30. Then had to go an hour to the local facility. I still got it at 9am.
My UPS driver this morning said that they (and I don't know if they meant the local facility or what) have 80,000 extra stops tomorrow that are iPhones.
All those OLD Alaska shipments should now be seeing updates:

From KY to Cleveland Hopkins airport takes 46 minutes. My house is so close to the airport I can see the planes land. It's a 2 minute drive up the street.

Next flight from KSDF to KONT is UPS918, leaving at 0348 EDT, arriving 0426 PDT. Plenty of time to get out to socal area. I'm in the KSBA area - they usually drive it up from KONT, which looks fine for a "by 1030" delivery.

Same here - just an Import Scan in KY. Should be headed west on UPS918. Should. :/
They got our packages from China to Alaska in less time then is still left...I think they could do KY to wherever in USA without any issues. I think people here SERIOUSLY underestimate....ohhh, only one of the worlds MOST SUCCESSFUL postal services, along with FedEx.
Let me give you a little low down on UPS who couldn't possibly deliver all those phones by tomorrow! Could they?!

Yep. I didn't know they distributed from there. In the past, all mine came from KONT, but that's good for the Valley area.

well ontario would be good for UPS ground but I think burbank is the place for overnights to LA. That is what would make sense anyways. All i know is a full size aircraft is flying in there and it won't be empty.
I finally got my tracking number this morning... Says they sent the Info To FedEx, but that's it... I'm getting nervous.
I have the EXACT same thing! It's worrying me too.
