Still at my local FedEx facility rather than out for delivery. Seems like every time I complain about something it happens though, so this is my "why isn't it out for delivery yet?" complaint.

The holds are gone...again
Delivery shows 6/17...again
But package still shows that it is in KY.

So I called UPS and the very nice lady told me that it is being delivered on 6/19 guaranteed no later than 10:30am and that she was sorry for the incorrect info on the website.

I'm done checking UPS...just going to make sure I'm around Friday morning.

Anyone /w an original delivery date of 6/17 or 6/18 with their phone still in KY per UPS? When I spoke to the UPS lady yesterday, she told me guaranteed delivery on 6/19 no later than 10:30am. I'd feel much better about this if it were at least somewhere in the Tri-state area already...or at least in the air!

Another example of this guaranteed by 10:30AM delivery on the 19th.

mine's on truck for delivery too bad i'm at work..i would've sent it to work but i work for the gov't and our building is ultra secure.

me too... and its fun! and i dont even know why because it isnt much different than the 3g that i have, i just think everything i dislike about the 3g that the 3gs will fix those issues and be almost perfect!!

Each truck should have GPS so you can see its actual location, and maybe even route. That would be awesome.

My pre-signed paper is taped to the front door. Hope it doesn't get blown away, and I hope the FedEx guy doesn't screw anything up as he has before.

My FedEx status seems to be updating about a half hour after things are actually happening.

Yeah, you've been quite, how shall I put it... overoptimistic?... this week, not really understanding how the delivery companies work. When it comes to trusting the CSRs or the on-line tracking info, trust the on-line tracking info. That is what Apple's contract is based on, not what a random CSR thinks is correct.

Again, it's quite possible people will receive their phones earlier than 3pm, but 3pm (4pm in some areas) is the contractual deadline. Neither UPS nor FedEx are under any obligation to deliver any sooner. There is no 10:30AM guarantee and if you don't believe me watch when 10:30AM comes and goes and many people here still have not received their iPhones.

Even though I paid for the fastest option listed when I preordered.

Still...out for delivery. Can't wait.
