Metallic MacBooks Spotted on Apple Campus

I would say its the same metal that frames the iPod Touch :)

That doesn't mean I can't hope it happened :)

And yeah I agree with tacojohn and his picture- no moving parts is a pretty big selling point.

Looking at your nick i suddenly thougt of the sentens " So you think your pretty smart huh, think you can out smart a bullet ?" If i remember correctly thats from a robocop movie and was later sampled by Silver bullet , in the track, 20 seconds to comply ;-) .
 
I agree with pretty much everyone else on the need for pics, but I can definitely see the black and silver happening because it would fit perfectly with Apple's new look. Although I'm not sure how two different colors would look on an Apple laptop.

Well, black and metal seem to work nicely on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iMac... :)
 
Couldn't they just be "choppered" Macbooks? I mean think about it. You got thousands of computer geeks all toting the same laptops around. I'm sure there are guys who are gonna supe up the looks of there's to stand apart.
 
Appearance is usually used by Apple to differentiate its lower end offerings from its higher end ones. So a very metallic appearance indicates that it's probably gonna be a high end product, and expensive.

Black is just too batchelor pad: black leather couches, huge black tv, decor of beer mugs and wine bottles, Foozball table in the corner. ugh.

The three desktop Macs are using aluminium...as are all the iPods...

In fact, the aluminium keyboard comes with the iMac, not the Mac Pro, so metal is hardly an indication of 'pro' any more...
 
In other news there were NO sightings of an updated Mac Pro anywhere on the Apple Campus. And the Mac Pro design team office appeared to have been deserted for quite some time.

thats because they are not redesiging the case

just simple processor and graphic hard drive updates

Would you like to bet on that? I've been on this website for some time now, and every time a rumor like this gets hot it usually happens. And the timing is perfect as well. I guarantee you we will see a new Apple laptop design in the very near future. :)

Ok... But he was talking about the mac pro, not the MacBook pro.
I've been on this website a little while now to and I love it when people see mac pro and think laptop...
 
i was going to post this in the roundup rumor thread but this seems more fitting. i got this mag in the mail the other day. notice the macbook top right listed as 13", and selling for $1,499. The latch looked new also, or is that the current macbook latch? Of course the color and aluminum casing. Word check it out.
