How you get yellows

I noticed that you get yellows by defeating bosses or mini-bosses. so as you progress and kill bigger or harder enemies you should collect more and more.

Yeah, I got a yellow for defeating Anus ..or whatever his name is. Can't remember if I got one for the previous mini-bosses.

Well, I managed to beat the game with a 96%.

All in all, it was an excellent game. Loved it!

are you sure? you're greyed out on my list...

I noticed that people stay greyed out until at least one voucher is exchanged each way. *shrug* I've added alot of the people on the list but cdealey and Twinky are the only ones who show up on my voucher list.

I noticed that you get friend vouchers for every kill, for finding certain new areas, and for special weapon combos such as the icy reptilius... though that is the only combo I've found. I'm getting quite a few yellow medals though seem to be quite a few bosses in the sky town.

I'll be leaving work in about 10-40 minutes to pick up the game and some other errands that need to be run. I will probably start playing tonight if all goes well...

I should be able to start shipping off vouchers this weekend.

I have four friend vouchers.
I've already sent out an extra one and am hoping to get a friend token.
Anyone want to trade four for four, or at least any?

Hurray! Finished it.

Percentage complete: 100%
Total time: 18:57

First time I finish a Metroid game with 100% completion on a first run. I've got little credit since that "satelite launching thingy' in Sky City made finding the last few items childplay. Very unlike every other Metroid games.

Edit: Don't forget to wait until after the end of the generic/completion screen for some extra eye candy. (3 different endings? Less than 75%, 75-99% and 100% completion)

Yeah I finished it with 97% even with the satellite... my only guess is that I missed 3 items somewhere in the first spaceship that you can't return to once you go to Norion *shrug*

I'll find them as I play through on the next difficulty.

I don't think you can miss items on the first spaceship. (I could be wrong)

Did you remember revisiting that area that doesn't appear on the map on Bryyo? (Accessible through the teleporter only)

That might be it. I got all of the items that satellite displayed on the map... so the possible places are Vallhalla and that place too... playing back through the game on hypermode now so I'll have to find them.

100% items

Hey I noticed a lot of people online not getting all the items to see the special ending. There are two places a lot of people miss and of course these areas aren’t obvious or are not given by the satellite. They are Valhalla and Byro Ice area. The first thing to do once you get all the satellites unlocked is go to Byro and go to the ice place where you get the screw attach there are two other items if im not mistaken. Valhalla is a little different, its not marked at all. The one place most people seem to miss is that there is a missile expansion in the elevator room, (the elevator you have to activate manually) once at the top floor of that elevator look behind you and there is an area you can go through in ball mode to get the missile. Most other areas are pretty easy to find on the Valhalla as long as you scan everything and get all the power cells for all the rooms. Hope this helps.

Think you might be able to "white out" the spoilers for those of use who have not yet finished the game? Surround the text in [color = fafafa][/ color] tags (without the spaces of course). Of course I'm one of the worst people for defending spoilers in some threads so it would serve me right to just leave it there too.

I'm sitting on 2 friend vouchers for anyone who wants to exchange at the moment, will probably be at 3+ after tonight.
