Good. Nintendo surely built in a safety mechanism for this. Had they not, the resulting fatalities and property damage would have been astronomical. It could have even meant the end of the world. Just imagine what could have happened....if one or more people registered their Wii's own friend code, with itself, that could have caused a feedback loop within the system. Then, this corruption could have spread throughout the whole WiiConnect24 network. The internet would collapse and worldwide communications would be brought down in a matter of hours. Once the feedback loop (within the Wii) reached a critical level, it would implode, releasing an incredible amount of energy. All people, within the immediate vicinity of the Wii would be killed instantly. Everything within a 3 mile radius of the Wii would be completely devastated. What's worse, the Wii's implosion could have left behind a micro-singularity. Now, if multiple people registered their own Wii codes, with themselves, the resulting group of singularities could have potentially destroyed the Earth. The tidal forces, from each singularity being drawn to one another, would quickly begin to rip apart the planet. Once the singularities joined, a larger black hole would have formed. Our planet, the moon, the sun, the whole solar system would have all eventually been drawn into the Wii black hole.
Nintendo obviously had the foresight to perceive this danger and clearly took measures to prevent it. In effect, Nintendo has saved the world.
Thanks to Nintendo, we all are able to go home tonight and play Metroid Prime 3 in safety and security. Not only for us but for those who don't yet have the game. For our children and for our children's children.
