Microsoft really got things right with the SP3. I've one as a portable work device (i7/8/512)
At this point with the Surface 3, with equivalent storage as the iPad, it ends up being cheaper than the iPad and potentially a lot more productive.
Besides, it's $100 cheaper in both 64GB/2GB RAM and 128GB/4GB RAM variants than the iPad Air 2 with equivalent storage.
The only downside is Windows, but I'm running the DP builds of Windows 10 and it seems good.
