Yeah, hopefully they'll be adding all those in sooner rather than later.Tons of things missing. It's not unreliable, but just… incomplete.

It was released this week with Tuesday’s updates. Unfortunately it’s so incomplete, it should not have been released. Many lost features are months away.Yes getting close to release time, mine is working smooth now, zero issues. Still lots of features disabled and when I click on it it asks if I want to switch to old outlook to use them
The good thing is that there's a switch to go back and forth between the new version and the old version it needed. It was released this week with Tuesday’s updates. Unfortunately it’s so incomplete, it should not have been released. Many lost features are months away.
Saw the "new Outlook" just had an update again (16.43.20110105), but I think it still doesn't support iCloud or IMAP. Can anyone confirm? Has anyone heard when it might?
16.43 is not a released version as of yet, you have one of the "insider" versions. The roadmap to add new features to the "new Outlook" is long and slow. It looks like iCloud is scheduled for this month, with IMAP scheduled for December: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=MacSaw the "new Outlook" just had an update again (16.43.20110105), but I think it still doesn't support iCloud or IMAP. 16.43 should be out on Tuesday, Nov. 10.they must be still piecemealing these out, haven't seen this yet.
Edit: oops, on the wrong update channel.![]()
It's not necessary to be on an insider account to use the "new Outlook." Users should see a toggle in the top bar of the Outlook window. Currently it only supports Microsoft 365 accounts. You can have this now with a 365 account on 'insider slow' beta testing. I am interested to know whether it will be for all accounts.
Thanks for the correction. I did not know that as I run insider all the time, and it wasn't there last time I checked. It's not necessary to be on an insider account to use the "new Outlook." Microsoft, Please stop removing features for the sake of interface design. This looks like some kind of facebook feed. Some of us actually use outlook for more than sending chain emails to our kids or pinterest recipes.Microsoft: We made it pretty!
Enterprise users: Can we have feature-parity with the Windows version? It's been almost 20 years since Voting Buttons were introduced in Outlook 2003 and we still don't have them in Outlook Mac.
Microsoft: No, we made it pretty!
Seriously, enterprise users just want feature parity.
Release notes are usually available from Microsoft:Got Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word updates today. Haven't noticed what's changed yet, and don't remember where Microsoft posts release notes. I wish they would give info in the AutoUpdate app.
