No problem, think you will find all messages are encrypted :)

All msg's are between your private server (mac) and your android phone, all connections are done over HTTPS/WSS and utilizes TLS encryption by default

That’s transport encryption, though. It doesn’t necessarily imply encryption at rest.

For example, e-mail these days is almost always transported in encrypted form, but stored on servers and clients in unencrypted form.

Well they are still using apples servers. So unless the messages are decrypted it's unlikely.

In my simple understanding of these matters the at rest server once recieved from Apple would be their own mac at home and it leaves their encrypted

Which is why I did not note 2 other possible ways that use servers elsewhere and would need access to your ID etc

Who said anything about the RCS protocol? Apple could simply release a version of iMessage on competing phones that allow Apple users to talk to non-Apple users using iMessage without resorting to three decade old technology. Apple is creating security issues for no reason but its own benefit while harming their userbase.
When you’re talking about what a business should do, you need to ensure you align the business interests with the customer interests.

If an action is in the customer interest but not in the business interest, the business will not take that action (what’s the point?)

If an action benefits both the customer and the business, the business will take that action (win win).

If an action benefits the business but not the customer, the business will weigh up and the pros and cons of taking that action (how many customers will be lose by taking this action vs what we will gain?)

The consumer interest for iMessage everywhere is clear. The business interest is not clear at all (unless it would show that more customers would buy Apple products, but on the face of it it would serve the opposite purpose, and Apple appear to be aware of that).

I'm having issues with calls forced to go through Win 11 laptop if I use Phone Link and Airpods. Airpods don't switch back to Iphone. Had to restart Iphone to use Airpods again.

Notifications and texts are not causing the problem.

Anything I can go to fix it?

That's me too, I own both, and like both for different things. Most people don't understand around here that you can like both and work with both.
I don't really like Windows but as with everything, it has its moments.
I want to buy a last of the line Intel Mac Pro, hopefully that will do me for the next decade.
