It’s the worst, harvesting all the data from an early age wherein most (im assuming) parents just don’t bother to have their children use a home bought MacBook or iPad setups smh

If that’s going down the data /face geometry/ voice geometry etc of the children then that’s just like, almost heart breaking..withh no one speaking out

imo Its all about consent…both parties….im walking down the street minding my own business and ppls front door street facing cameras try to catch me, they can’t catch this!!!

Srsly tho
I’m curious if it all goes anywhere…I have my ideas but we’ll just leave it at that

One thing I can say is you someone is walking along comes by close to someone and see someone making a (presumably? Social media post you do have a right I believe to say plz I don’t want to be on any social media, Goog Photos, or whathaveyou…now they may look at you like you have ten heads coming out of your shoulder but I feel the request should be respected and civilly, by this logic it extend to other non living entities, the cameras everywhere the constant surveillance for ads, data and whatever else… like giv me a break

The government you know you expect that - surveillance, it could prevent say a huge catastrophic event or find someone who committed such a cowardly thing alright cool fine, but the day to day grind for data money on ppl …that seems like could be bigger and more lucrative than at first though (there’s a looooot of ppl)

it’s just possibly all abt data for the $ and data for the AI….and then investing more into AI and surveillance deals…..imo best you can do is do your part and if someone says hey we’re taking signatures for this movement or your vote for that, sure I’ll type my name out…
"So then we switched to Windows..." "I wonder how THAT is going to turn out?"

I have to use a Windows PC for work. This will be nice if allows me to sync passwords and bookmarks. I currently use an extension for Edge that allows this. However, the bookmarks seem to have stopped synching.
I have to use multiple browsers on different devices. I switched to Raindrop.io for bookmarking -- I find it way easier to keep track of things and organize it between browsers. I use the free version but have used the Pro version in the past to have the AI automagically sort my bookmarks for me.

Funny that I am posting here again. I have been using Brave since early this year, though I have gotten interested in using Edge. I figured what the hell, why not give it a chance?

For years I judged it without actually using it. I've been trying it out, however one significant problem that prevents me from using it full time is the annoying white trim/border around web pages. Edge looks and feels rather clean, modern.

However I have significant concerns with privacy on Edge.
