On the other hand, if I don’t like the values of a workplace I don’t work there in the first place. But I guess that’s just me.
After dealing with Microsoft for nigh on 30 years I can only see that these people will end up working at Google within 18 months and Microsoft will release another half-baked disappointment after away too much marketing effort. If the end users are really lucky, Microsoft will piss them off big time fairly early on in the cycle thus preventing interest and investment in the product and it circling the drain rapidly.
...Microsoft is working on their own chip for their Surface line. When their exclusivity deal with Qualcomm ends, they're going to offer their own Arm chips inside their machines. I would imagine Intel and AMD could see their chips booted from Surface products down the road, not just Qualcomm.
Yeah, because Qualcomm dropped the ball. Qualcomm's cores have always had worse performance per watt than their last. The Snapdragon 8 gen 1 is the first time they managed to get better performance per watt. Microsoft probably got tired of waiting.
Ohh, so Intel is helping Microsoft gain new talent in order for Microsoft to make its own silicon instead of using Intel. Got it, that makes sense.

I cannot mind read hence sweeping statements will be treated for all the value they have. You can keep your condescending comments to yourself.
People switch jobs constantly and if you work for a big tech company, odds are you will go to a similar company but nerds love to speculate there's some DEEP MEANING to everything.

In their eyes everybody is bad, incompetent and unable to learn, same for their employees and users, but the worst ones sit on top of the Apple Tree. ?

Sure, hourly retail employees and high-level chip architects are all the same in Apple's core culture.

That’s likely also because the story of MS retail stores is such a success, besides the blatant whataboutism.
