Teams, sharepoint and outlook all been fine all morning here in the uk. DevOps was down for an hour or so and then sluggish for some time after but also seems to be back now.
Definitely some issues in the UK, my wife was due to be working from home yesterday and had issues when she fired her laptop up about 7:30am and when i got into the office about 8am my place was having issues as well.

Microsoft Azure is completely borked which is what they build on top of, as do a lot of other people.

Again.

Thank goodness we're on AWS. It's not our day to go down today 🤣

Edit: I love the downvote on this because it's actually factual and reported in the tech community elsewhere as well 🤦🏻‍♂️

Issue is resolved but might take a little while for all businesses to see full recovery:

We have identified a recent change to WAN as the underlying cause, and have taken steps to roll back this change. Our telemetry shows consistent signs of recovery from 09:45 UTC onwards across multiple regions and services. Most customers should now see full recovery as WAN networking has recovered fully.

We are working to monitor and ensure full recovery for services that were impacted.

The next update will be in 30 minutes or as soon as we have further information.

Microsoft seems to be forgetting the Test method:

Test, Test and Test!
Test in a virtual non-production environment, limited access.
Test in a replicated production environment - still in virtual instance with a larger scale use of users.
Test in a very limited production environment with key users.

No no no no no.

Microsoft have always tested in production. They are just continuing to do so.
