because all they do well is tell time.
Smart watches aren't popular because they are hard to use for how little they do.
Remember what Apple does well? (Hint: human interfaces)

I'm still waiting for this magical apple tv, or magical tv subscription service, or magical cheap iPhone .. The only new thing coming out of apple is hot air.
You know that these are shots in the dark to see if any thing hits. So far nothing has hit. Agree?
Next, apple releases what will from then on be the measuring standard for years and decades to come. At that point, every one claims 'convergence of design' and every one (specially samedung) will copy apple.
Next chapter will be judges claiming that the apple design, which does not exist yet, is 'obvious' and proceeds to invalidate apple's design.
Im still waiting for a legit smart tv.
Rumors and misinformation?why do tech companies have to follow what apple is doing?
At home, I wear one of several old Timex windup watches that I bought on eBay. I read an article that stated that old mechanical watches are becoming popular again because they are so simple and well, mechanical. Sure they need winding and adjusting once a day but they are still fun to wear just like when I was a kid.
Windows 9
Run your desktop apps on your PC/Tablet AND your watch!
Remember when Microsoft, google and Samsung were talking about their future in smart watch BEFORE learning Apple was working on one?
Me neither.
Yep and a lot of legal and advertising articles put on this website too. Just stuff we've all come to accept over the years. (accept but not agree with).I have noticed more that this site posts rumors/news about anything or any competitor to Apple.
Basic economics...
First Apple built computers. They were big expensive boxes, then the made phones. These were cheaper and smaller and next wil be watches. They will be cheaper and smaller than phones
At each step downward the number of units sold goes up dramatically. Apple will follow the numbers but, I as a customer would prefer to see Apple smaller and go back to serving creative professionals
Every time they go after more unit sales they dumb down and cheapen the product. Notice the move to glossy screens.

I wonder how many products "in-development" at Apple are actually fake and leaked by Apple just so all other copy-cat companies dilute their resources trying to make such products while Apple focuses on a few still.
