I just think it'll be really funny when people take notice how damn unoriginal this whole ms store design is

hahahha. i COMPLETELY agree. they even dress like the mac specialists at the stores. when i was a specialist, i was taught to be innovative, and ORIGINAL.

ms has no class whatsoever. hahahha. i can't actually believe how shameful this is.

For fun, let's all go into the store absent-mindedly, and then ask them where are the new iMacs and iPods. When they tell you they have none, yell loudly, "What! What kind of Apple Store is this?!" and storm off.

haha this is an amazing idea.

I thought that it would look somewhat like apples store, because i mean you can only do so much to display computers. But using the same tables and same looking laptops as macbook pros. wtf. i dont care tho, competition is good.

I can get Safari to crash 100% of the time when trying to upload files under Snow Leopard. It works just fine under 10.5.8 though.

Internet Explorer 8 spawns processes for each tab now.

What are you doing other than simply "uploading files" that causes Safari to crash ?

You're a techie.. Look at the logs and please tell me.

Oh gosh, MS decided to open up a store, A STORE, clearly they ripped off the idea because Apple invented the store eh?

Anyways Apple stores and this Microsoft store do look SIMILAR but not identical.

You are a fool... seriously. You KNOW what the point of this discussion is, but continue to pretend it hasn't happened?. Fool.

I guess without them stealing multi-touch patents, they would not have a Magic Mouse right now, now would they. Don't you also think that Apple may have some spies at Microsoft?

So now Apple stole multi touch patents from Microsoft?

It's the open and save file dialog problem that Adobe noted in Snow Leopard. It happens about 40-50% of the time in FireFox. You'll go to select your file and the application will just beachball and go to 100%.

They should have taught you about capitalisation and not shouting. Shameful.

I feel just a little bit of puke at the top of my throat.....

... beyond lame.

It's a good thing Microsoft doesn't have to come up with anything original, eh? They tried that once, it was called Windows Millennium!! :D

I guess I have to repeat myself.

Microsoft now sells other peoples computers.

You can even shop for them online at the Microsoft store.

http://store.microsoft.com/microsoft/Computers/category/410

If they want to copy Apple SO much, they may as well sell Macs... I mean, they could boot camp them & put Win7 on em for sure... they'd BSOD eventually, and customers would say "What a terrible shame - the hardware is SO SO beautiful but this software is awful - I can't have it crashing like this!. Is there another OS I can put on it"...

You can see where I'm heading, right? ;)

So it's an Adobe plug-in problem.
Wow, that was hilarious.

No it's not. Adobe noted that it happens in their applications and many other ones. I can get it to happen on a clean install of Snow Leopard.

I can't even do a clean install of Snow Leopard either without losing 4 years of Spotlight comments too.

Ok.. I mis-understood.

Have you tried to submit a bug report ? I have yet to experience this problem and would like to try and duplicate it.

Aside from the identical nature of the store to apples and shirts and blah blah... I really find the choppy video and crazybalmer woots hilarious! I wonder if marketing came to the employees with that video of balmer going nuts and told them "just do this."

With the money M$ have you could at least pay someone with imagination though. I like the "Answer Pub" idea, just conjours up a cosy picture of a nice warm boozer, you snuggle up in a candlelit corner with one of the Genius's, sorry, Anus's (geddit:D) and get 'em to defrag yer laptop:p

My first computer had Windows 98 SE. I have never seen any of the computers I have had since then "BSOD".

On the other hand, every single Mac I have ever owned has given me a "Kernel Panic" at least once. Since upgrading to Snow Leopard I have been told that I "need to restart my computer" at least three times.

I can replicate it on 3 Macs and all have used different install media. I don't even have Snow Leopard installed anymore because every browser was crippled by this bug.

How do I submit a bug report beyond the crash reporter I submitted every time I selected a file in a browser? Believe me that really made me mad.

WTF!! is just the same as an Apple Retail Store!! (except that here are PC's)

I think the free ADC online membership would get you into the radar. Not sure though. Give it a try.

Or a second way would be to get the crash log and email it along with steps to duplicate it to bugreport@apple.com

A third way would be for you to PM me with the exact steps you used so I could try to duplicate it.

This is the kind of stuff I do.
