I switched to WP8 from my 4s when my contract was up because I didn't like the feel of iOS7, WP8 is a great mobile OS.

These "ads" were pathetic..

I almost switched to Nokia's Lumia series myself because of the smoothness of WP8; it is indeed worth a try. (Ultimately, I ended up with the iPhone 5 because it plays so well with my established Apple ecosystem and has a robust app catalog.)

I wouldn't go so far as to call these ads "pathetic" but, as I believe Shrink said earlier (feel free to correct my source), they are a bit boring.

Unless Apple's iPhone market-share continues to drop at the current rate and Microsoft's continues to rise - in which case Microsoft will have beaten Apple in terms of phone market-share by the end of 2014. Microsoft will continue plodding along, but it is clearly in its sunset years. A company that is so easy to mock in so many different ways dares to mock another? Pot, meet Kettle. There is no other tech company disdained more than Microsoft.

There's nothing wrong with a little tongue-in-cheek humor, except when there's no humor. At least in the Mac vs. PC ads, most people could relate to the problems with the PC. Here, I'm not sure what they're doing... They're making fun of the plastic iPhone, when their phones are also made of plastic? They also make fun of the Biometrics in the home button? I'd say that's pretty innovative compared to their phones. I just don't get their intentions... Are they trying to say that the iPhone is as crappy as theirs?

And they took the videos down...
