It's all scripted, with hired actors. That has been established already. Even if it wasn't and the guy decided he got the Mac, they could... oh I don't know... just not air it ?
Oh really. Quite an assumption on your part. Who knows, I may be applying for a job that requires Office 2007 skills and I need to demonstrate my proficiency in order to get hired.
Additionally, while I may not have a full time job, I may be doing part time work that necessitates the use of the Office 2007 suite.
Oh yeah, and another thing. Did he ever once mention an os? I mean how "Tech savvy" can you be if you don't even care what the operating system is?
Maybe someone a few years ago, who was unfamiliar with Macs could think this - the fact that Macs were lower in Ghz than the PC equivalents.
Since Mac has been on Intel, they're getting more computing 'power' faster than some of the Dell/HP/whatever PC's out there.
He's clearly just an idiot.
Wait till this guy shows up at a Best Buy needing to get his viruses removed. They sure do avoid showing any kind of software type of advertising. Hilarious
I had a lot of issues with Windows, and very much prefer Mac, but I never had a real big issue with viruses. ( Spyware was a different matter). I think this is an exageration that we need to get past.
i think these ads have some merit
not gonna lie, i envy the hardware selection with windows immensly
The 17" iMac has 1440x900 resolution. It's not really much different.
I've never had any problems with Silverlight. They use it on ITV.com and it works flawlessly there. Try installing it.
Then I got a mac mini for Christmas 2008, all my problem were solved. Everything worked, it was magic!
Seems like you are bigger idiot by making this statement and on top of that an oblivious donkey!
... You're kidding, right? I thought you'd link to an actual competitor, taking two glances at it and I'm saying, "Of course that's better".
It's well over twice as thick as a MacBook Pro. It's almost twice as heavy. It's made of flimsy plastic. It's a Windows laptop. Asus is an unreliable company with poor customer support.
Yes, in this scenario "better" isn't a strong enough word.
I just went to the hp store link and customized a laptop as closely as possible to the low-end 15" MacBook Pro. The hp came out only 100 dollars cheaper, and the hp had a lower resoluton monitor and DDR2 RAM (MacBook Pro has DDR3). Apple doesn't make expensive hardware.
I will never install a piece of apple software on my windows machines.
I've seen this as well.I have often found in comparison, that Apple software which is available on both Windows and the Mac, the Windows versions are more sluggish and not as responsive as their Mac counterparts.
This applies especially to Safari 3 and iTunes, in my opinion at least.
FYI Asus holds 70% of the market. Kind of odd for "unreliable", don't you think?
b) Asus has been the contract manufacturer for many models in the Apple line. (Though I am not sure if any are still made by Asus for this model year.)Apple, Asustek and Lenovo Make Most Reliable Personal Computers – Service Company.

Last time that I checked this is a free country and companies have a right to make commercials as long as they're not obviously lying.
