Of course, but you're guaranteed to make a fool of yourself if you try to dictate that someone's personal taste is "wrong", since it implies that you don't know the difference between the subjective and the objective. That's something you'd might expect from a cat, maybe, but not a human.
A somewhat hypocritical response when your one sole "objective" on here seems to be drumming into Mac users that OS X is not what they believe it do be. You, in your very own posts, are questioning the personal taste of others.
I've been using computers since the early 80's -- Sinclair ZX81 and Spectrum, C64, Amiga, Atari ST, Atari Falcon, Mac Classic, Mac Performa, 486, Pentium II, II, IV, PPC, Mactel, and whatever operating systems these platforms have run over the years. I've worked in software development, graphic design, e-learning, audio design and music production. I currently use two PCs that run Vista and two Macs running OS X. And for me personally, OS X is an added bonus.
Very good, an impressive portfolio ... I can check every single platform there off my own list. Your point?
Wrong. But you're entitled to your subjective opinion.
Everything you submit is a one sided argument, and you seem to pick on the weaker posts as to nitpick them and make an example. My issue here, now, is not with your opinion of the Mac, but with you and your attitude in general towards the members of this forum.
Are you talking to me or a mirror? Hard to tell.
I have an authoritative tone, perhaps that comes by being a Father, but the one thing I do have is respect of other people and their opinions. You have thus far shown a gross disrespect for the members of this forum by engaging in mockery and one sided arguments. I have been known to come across as quite pompous in my tone, and that's something I acknowledge but you continually show complete disregard for other people and their opinions on here. Also, usually the first person to use the line above, or a similar version of it in an argument is the one with the problem handling others opinions. Trying to deflect that insecurity back onto me will not fool anyone else either.
What a load of utter drivel. It is inferred by the very nature of a discussion forum that we're all here to debate, and nobody gets to dictate anything, excluding moderators.
I have deducted that you are here to dictate simply from reading your posts and noting the tone in which you refer to any Mac user who "dare" respond. I at least acknowledge my tone, something you thus far have not.
