Of course, it's the PHUNE.

I voted positive for this. Know why? Cause it'll be another chance for MS to make themselves look incredibly stupid.
Whatever it is, it'll probably be brown.
Okay, sorry, totally off topic.
Let's see what the boys and girls up in Redmond have to offer. . . My guess is either an iPhone-like device or a tablet UMPC.
It's described as "something totally new coming out of the Entertainment and Devices division, and it's going to change the way people interact with technology" and "you really have to see it to believe it."
Of course, it's the PHUNE.

Somehow I don't get excited at all for MS product launches.
It is sad that less than two weeks to WWDC, and the news highlights on a Tuesday no less are new products rumors from MS and Palm, especially after the slow start that Apple has had this year.
In case you missed it.
iPhone announced - great!
AppleTV reannounced - shipping when, ok still great!
Airport Extreme N - pretty good.
Colored Shuffles - really who cares!
8-Core Mac Pros - but no new SS chipset.
& MacBooks with RAM and speed bumps only - less interesting than the lame Mac Pro update.
iMacs?
MacBook Pros?
Minis?
hello Apple. 2007 it's only the beginning of what?
and oh yeah, if you're not tired of waiting yet, Leopard delayed till Oct, probably iLife and iWork too.
I'm thinking it a portable gaming system to compete with the PSP and DS, they said the Zune name wouldn't just be for the MP3 player...
So, im guessing some sort of Zune/Xbox portable...
No, they don't seem to be capable of much of anything nowadays, but that's never stopped them.My guess: some sort of a rendition of a tablet PC.
But is MS capable of such a feat??
I vote for the brown Microsoft HDTV - you have to have a subsciption just for your remote to turn it on.

Premium - standard cable access through comcast $199/month
Ultimate - expanded cable access through comcast $279/month
and of course - Xscream - all the above incl. DVR functionality $499/month
