16.44, Universal. What about Office 2019? The volume licensed standalone version?
Gotta be on office 365 to get all the latest updates. 2019 the build number is 16.4416.44, Universal.
Is this only for Microsoft 365 subscribers? Or are Office 2019 for Mac customers also getting some love?
It's not a problem with the new Outlook switch. Outlook app still appears as 16.43 (the same version from last month). Rest of apps in the Mac App Store shows 16.44 and are pretty fast.
Outlook is delayed it seems... the one that I was expecting more!
Same issue here. You can "solve" the issue by forcing Word to open in Rosetta (click on Word in the Finder, Command+I and then open with Rosetta). Guess we need to wait a little longer until the reference managers are updated.Argh! It broke the citation tool for Mendeley!
Outlook isn't updated yet, at least not in the App Store (I don't know about AutoUpdate).I'm honesty confused, while my WOrd and Excel updated to Apple architecture, the binary for Outlook is still very much Intel (both in Activity Monitor and properties of the app itself)
Just me?
I’m looking for 16.44 in the App Store, not how to turn in the new outlook user interface.
As the press release said, Outlook gets the new appearance, which you have to switch on. The "New Outlook" does have a number of feature limitations.I'm confused. Microsoft said they redesigned the UI for this release to match Big Sur. But when I updated, it's still the old UI. I have an Intel iMac Pro, is the redesign only for the M1 Macs? I feel like a UI match with Big Sur would be across both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
Apparently that's for next month.I'm confused. Microsoft said they redesigned the UI for this release to match Big Sur. But when I updated, it's still the old UI. Exactly. The inability to add delegate accounts is one reason I'm not using new outlook. As the press release said, Outlook gets the new appearance, which you have to switch on. The "New Outlook" does have a number of feature limitations.
New UI is not compatible to normal exchange servers, IMAP ,...I'm confused. Microsoft said they redesigned the UI for this release to match Big Sur. But when I updated, it's still the old UI. Different product made by a different development team with different priorities and different resources available. It makes complete sense. Its not as simple as flipping a switch to turn this stuff on. Software development is complex.I don’t get why teams is not included in these updates. No native dark mode. No native notifications. Makes no sense.
