How do you possibly know how far away Apple may be? Pure guessing with no factual basis to back it up. Just more Apple hate, as I see it. And if this is the future, we are in deep sh*t.

We are talking about where Apple, Microsoft, etc. are right now, not where they all might be in the future.

Right now Open AI is being actively integrated into Bing & Edge, while Apple are trying to fix Siri which was not designed to be used on a massive multilingual scale to start with.

From my own experience with Siri, it was at its best during iOS 9, moving steady downhill from iOS 10 onwards.

Can Apple catch up? Probably. Will they? To be seen…

Hey Bing, can you draw me a reasonably priced apple product... '' I'm sorry dave but I can't do that because it does not exist ''
This is it apparently

This is going to lead to some very crazy artwork.
I'm seeing in news headlines this last few days that a lot of these AI engines are going to have to start paying royalties to content owners when they crawl the web for content and compose other peoples' work into results. That's going to be a major headwind for AI, and it should be. They need to come up with a good way to reference source material. Maybe give a link to a list of links at the end of each result like a bibliography or something. I don't know what the solution is, but the way things are now is not going to sit well with content owners.

Yeah right now they plagiarizing pretty much everything and not giving any sources.
I'm looking forward to the lawsuits 🥤🍿

I asked Bing AI to draw an image of Tim Cook running from an Android robot. AI refused.

I also asked Bing AI where you are generating the content from. AI refused and shut down the conservation.
