I had two hard drives, a Seagate and a Maxtor. The Maxtor broke. Therefore, all Maxtors are hazardous and will destroy your data and all Seagates are perfect and will never break. :?

Boiled water has been deareated. Perhaps there's a difference in the mechanism between the two heating styles. Still, I did science projects in school using plants and had something around 50 of them as a sample size.

It looks like a solid experiment assuming there were no shenanigans.
Both sets of water were boiled. The possibility of leaching from plastic and pots was mentioned and that could have been solved by heating both in glass containers.
They could have been labeled better. Microwaved vs Stove heated.
Honestly, in that some parts of the world people are lucky if they make it to 40. In our modernized world where we live to 75+ on average I don't think a microwave is going to take years off our life. We're already fortunate enough to be living as long as we are.
