Has anyone experienced if you didn't get your first choice how easy it is to get back and get your second choice?

For instance I want a 128gb Space Gray but I would be happy with a 128gb gold but it seems if you do anything outside the norm such as going back and walking through the order process again you are screwed lol.

If you use apple pay it will use your chase cards. It clearly will say "use apple pay" when you go to checkout.

I have my account set up in the Apple Store App but do I have to do something else to use Apple Pay, like opt in? Or is it automatic with my credit card set up? I have an older 5 phone... if that matters.

I don't think the 5 actually has apple pay does it? You would just checkout through the app like normal. Apple pay will use Touch ID and takes 2 seconds. It pulls from the card in passbook automatically

The store is already down. It seems a bit early. I forget if it went down this early in previous years.

Apple making sure they get it right this time. Either that or preorders will go live two hours early. Now that would be something

wow, this is getting exciting!

Okay, SO if i am on AT&T NO Contract Plan Data Share Plan (Want to Keep It), Want an Unlocked Phone tonight, Which one do i Get? T mobile or AT&T paid in full So it does not affect my plan..... AND which color? Silver Or Space Grey>!>!>

I hate these midnight launches. If they are worry about internet traffic, launch it Sunday morning. Let the people in China wake up middle of the night instead.

Small snag- I went into the app earlier and saw that my payment info has not been updated after I received a new debit card with a new number and expiration date. I was going to change it when I got home from work, but alas the app is already down. I changed the info to the new card through the iPhone appleID area, but the last time I was on the app I selected 'remember me.' Will it remember my old card info, or should it reflect the changes I submitted after the app went down?

Also, I was not able to set up that link trick to refresh the app back to its last configuration through exporting the link... Hopefully the process will still go smooth.

Am I correct in assuming that there will not be an online option anytime soon for those of us who use a CDMA prepaid MVNO? I am on Selectel and need a Verizon phone not tied to Verizon.

You'll get it 3 days later compared to on the 25th. Not a big deal. You'll be fine.

So if waking up at 3am is not in the cards, if I wake up at 7/8, I'm guessing the phone will no longer be available via AT&T? If it's not, how long would restocks take?

Not sure but I would probably not risk it and try to purchase online with my computer....

I will be waking up at 3 and trying to get back to sleep asap ahead of work and I am at a hotel, so I will not want to go down to the business center and interrupt the sleep process any more than necessary. Can it be done reasonably quick on the apple site through the iPhone in your opinion?
